Solid Day 4 with 21-9, wins $100,000 prize
Gonzales’ Greg Hackney held on to win the FLW Tour event at Pickwick Lake with another solid day, bringing a five-bass, 21-pound, 9 ounce bag to the scales.
Hackney beat Michael Neal by 4 pounds and 1 ounce.
Hackney said he fished shallow with success, not fishing more than 6-feet deep all week.
‘When I caught all my weight, I was pole-down on the Power Poles,” Hackney said.
His four-day total was 97 pounds, 7 ounces.
The 1st place check was worth $100,000.
