Louisiana’s Bassmaster Elite pros after Day 1 at Toledo Bend

Crochet in 9th, Hackney T-29th and Tietje T-82nd

Two of the three Louisiana Bassmaster Elite Series pros are in good shape after Day 1 at the Evan Williams Bourbon Bassmaster Elite at Toledo Bend.

Cliff Crochet, of Pierre Part, is in 9th place after weighing in five fish totaling 21-10.

Greg Hackney, of Gonzales, is tied for 29th place with Kevin VanDam, with five fish weighing-in at 17-5.

Both anglers trail Jared Lintner, of Arroyo Grande, Calif., who is in 1st place with a five-fish sack weighing 25-7.

Dennis Tietje, of Roanoke, also caught five fish, but is tied for 82nd with 11-14.

Friday morning’s blastoff takes place at 6:20 a.m., with public viewing available at Cypress Bend Park.

Official weigh-in for Day 2 begins Friday afternoon at 3:15 p.m.
