To best maintain efficient operation, we recommend using lithium-ion batteries (LiFePO4) to maintain a consistent operating voltage. Standard Lead Acid batteries typically experience a more drastic voltage drop during discharge which will reduce the efficiency of the system.

* If using a 12 V lithium battery, the 12v to 24v inverter is to be installed in between the battery and the AC unit.

* An alternative option is to use a 24V Lithium battery direct to the air conditioner while utilizing a DC to DC charger, charging from your stock house battery.
