The view from the upper and lower deck is wonderful!! There are no houses across the river. It feels like you are completely alone on the river. The house has a homey, rustic feel that will encourage you to engage your spirit of relaxation. In the middle of a hot summer this place feels cooler because you are beside the river and under the trees. You can also jump in the slow-moving river to cool off! The deck has ladder access to the river. The house has 4 bedrooms with 5 beds(2Q,1F, 2T) that sleep 8 and 2 full bathrooms. No pets.  Access to local hangouts by boat and car.  Short boat ride to Lake Maurepas and it’s fun sandbar area.  20 min drive to Hammond and Ponchatoula local restaurants.
