Hoping someone can help?

I purchases a used FEMA trailer for a deer camp. The hot water heater seems to work as it takes ice cold Well Water and warms it, but it doesn't get HOT. Does anyone know if these trailers have a thermostat on the hot water heater that can be adjusted to turn up the heat? I believe the water heater is the RV Atwood model. I searched the web to no avail. Thanks for any help you can give.

I have a Johnson 225 V6 VXSSS where only 3 or 4 plugs firing at one time. This changes from 3 on one side and 1 on the other. Then the two top plugs on both sides or maybe only 1 on each side. We have already changed the stator, worked fine for 1 day, and now it is back to the same thing. Also once you get it started it runs and starts ok. Once we let the motor cool down for several hours the motor reverts back to no fire.

Any ideas as what could be the issue? Thanks!

A comment titled: Same here in response to a report titled: Thieves Ruin a Fun Family Grand Isle Trip

we were talking about this weekend during the Swollfest Rodeo. We told everyone to take their gear out of their boats.

2 Years ago I was staying at a camp located adjascent to Blanchard Seafood. I put all 8 of my poles and tackleboxes in a closet under the house. When I woke up the next day they were all gone. I still haven't recovered from this. I only have 6 poles now. And I was scared to leave them out of my sight.

It is a shame. We had such a great time this weekend. Newell Normand should start cracking the whip down there.

Great report, sounds like it was a great trip. Thanks for sharing. I have fished with them many times, and have never been disappointed. Friendly, accomodating, and first class operation all the way.

A comment titled: So far so good in response to a report titled: Blind Grass

I bought some to put on my mudboat this year, and it is holding up quite well. It dries quick, and conceals well. I would recommend it. Not sure how many seasons you will get, since this is my first. But should get a couple. I am using the grass from Academy

A comment titled: How far offshore are you talking? in response to a report titled: Bay Boats inshore/offshore

I wouldn't take a single engine bay boat of any kind too far away from land. The gulf can get real nasty, really quick, and a bay boat could easily get overwhelmed in a hurry. If you are snapper fishing or trout and red fishing at the near shore rigs, all of the boats listed should do well. I always used to say that 10 miles would be the farthest I would ever go in a bay boat.

Those football players were in a 21 foot, deep V offshore boat. When that wind kicked up, it didnt take them long to roll over. Those kind of waves are no match for a bay boat.

How many guys on here fish offshore with a bay boat? How far do you go in them. Maybe I am too much on the cautious side. Just curious. I know we have seen boats on the lump that would make you want to follow them in so they wouldn't drown.

A comment titled: I had same problem in response to a report titled: Lowrance Module Not Responding

Mine was mounted in the dash, with the reciever up on the console. I thought I was screwed. Then, I found a site on the internet that said to check to make sure that all the cables were in tight. Mine was in dash, kind of a pain to check the cables. So I pulled it out, cables looked fine, and then for grins I just unplugged it and plugged it back up and it worked...No clue if that's what is happening to your unit, but could be.

You should be strapped to a chair naked and have your gondads stomped on by a 400 pound woman with high heels!!!

I love a good fish story, but this is ridiculous. Lots of growing up to do I guess!

I was out there on Sunday, and the water all over the lake was filthy. Looks like river water stain, not just windy weater dirty. Might want to check the corp of engineers site and see if they have the davis pond diversion running. I was doing well last month, but now the water is awful

Tim, Jack call me and told me what was going on...I feel for you. We were out there yesterday, and we rode around alot, and I didn't notice him. We will be out there all weekend looking for the poachers with enforcement agency and hunting, so I will spend some time going up and down the canals, banks, looking for you. Maybe he could have gone towards hwy 23?

A comment titled: Great Motor, but not fuel efficient in response to a report titled: boogalie

My pops runs a 200 ETEC on his charter boat, and fishing 5-7 days a week. He loves it. It is quiet, powerful, low maintenace, but, I sucks on gas. He was sold on the whole 4 stroke benefits with the 2 stroke power, but with 4 dollars at the pump, he isn't liking it much anymore. He wrote Evinrude a letter, and they thought something may have been wrong with the motor. So they gave him a brand new one after only 6 months. The new motor, same problem. My paran is also a charter guide, and he has the 225 optimax. they both left the dock the dock at the same time, and followed each other all day since the crews wanted to stay together, and from Lafitte to Lake Hermitage, the optimax burned 14 gallons, the ETEC burned 21 gallons. So 1/3 difference. That is huge in the scheme of things.

It really is a terrific motor, If I was a millionaire, that is what I would buy. But with the rishing gas prices, The new optimax, suzuki, or even yamaha has to be towards the top of my list. hope this helps.

A comment titled: I got pics to prove that it does. in response to a report titled: c'mere deer

We bought it and spread it around on some logs, along with some corn. Well the corn was gone in 3 days, but my trail camera is still constantly taking photos of deer with their face in the ground eating and licking this stuff. The actually ate the bark of the fallen pine tree limbs that we spread it on. It is just a combo of Mollasses and something else. But it does work. I like how it will hold the deer to your area when you are at work and throw out any more corn.

A comment titled: WHY IS THAT? in response to a report titled: RUT- Area 1 (Early)

I hunt in McComb, which isn't THAT far away, and our Rut is always around New Years. We are just starting to find a scrape here and there, and a couple of the deer that I saw last weekend (small bucks and does) they were not chasing one another or anything. Amazing what 40-60 miles can do for ya.

A comment titled: H&H Cocahoes in response to a report titled: LSU Chubs

H&H Cocahoes, purple and chartreuse are your best bet. You can catch fish all day on just one of them. they are that durable. You can buy them in packs at Academy and Wal-Mart. H&H lures, are my favorite! Purple and Chartreuse on a gold spinner is RedFish Crack!

A comment titled: EBAY in response to a report titled: Advice on getting a bow?

Go to one or two proshops and figure out what your draw length is. Once you determine that, see if you can find a good used one from a friend or the Classifieds on the LA Sportsman. Chances are, when you buy it, it will already be tuned, and almost ready to go. You can save lots of money if you get one second hand. Also, they have a ton of nice bows on EBAY. If you are a 27, 28 inch draw length or whatever, find the used bow, for a good price, then take it to the pro shop and have them outfit it with what you need. Shooting a bow is very addictive. Not only bow hunting, but target shooting as well. You will be glad you did.
