Saw what looked like a bunch of dead bull reds floating as I crossed the Causeway this afternoon. They started right off the Southshore and continued at least half way across. Anybody know what's up with that?

Capt Paul,

I have a couple coordinates from a friends Garmin that I'd like to convert and enter in my Lowrance. How can I convert these?

Thanks,
Chris

My wife with a massive bull red caught in Venice. Plastic under a cork, med action TFO rod did the work.

My wife and I are thinking about heading down to
Delacroix in Sept. We'll be bringing our own boat looking to catch redfish. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you every come to middle TN, I can return the favor.

Thanks,
Chris

Looking for info in the Delacroix area. Wife and I are thinking about heading down from TN to try the redfishing next week May 31-June 4. Any info would be greatly appreciated, where to stay, where to start fishing.

If you ever come to middle TN I can return the favor.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I really don't think this amount of fish would have been caught and released from the pier. I can only estimate the numbers that I saw that day, but it was definitely over 50. Also, it appeared that they were bull reds, drum don't normally have a reddish color to them, it was a clear sunny day and the wind was out of the North East.

I have 4 of the tactical series, 2 casting and 2 spinning. Very light and sensitive, great rods for the money!

We'll be down Sept 18-24. Really looking forward to it. Is the redfishing still on fire? What are the best lures? Do ya'll use braid or mono? Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

Z-Man Lures makes them now. I ordered some from them last week. The exact same lizard I used to get from Strike King. These lures are unreal, you can catch more than 40 fish on 1 bait. I've done it several times. See the link below.

We're pretty flexible on when we come down. We'll keep an eye on the weather. Does the teal hunting interfere with the fishing in Sept? Is the fishing alot better in Oct? Thanks again for all the info.

We're looking at Sept 18-24, the tides look pretty good to me. What do ya'll think? What lures during this time? Email me if you'd like.

I've got a 20' bass boat with a 225 hp. Its several years old, but it runs good and I don't have to worry about scratches. I've also have GPS so I'm not to worried about getting lost.

I've lived in Clarksville my whole life. My wife was in the Army and served in the Gulf War. Its a great area KY Lake and Lake Barkley are only about 1 hr away, I've fished them my entire life. We started fishing in LA a couple years ago. We stayed with Capt John in Buras a few years ago, a friend from Shereveport introduce us. He passed away in Dec, my wife and I had hoped to spend more time with him and Otis his dog.

Thanks, I'll be in touch. We were coming last year but the spill changed our plans. We prefer to use artificials over bait. Where's the best place to stay, what tide station do you use?
