For the guys the duck hunt Biloxi WMA and use surface drives or anything bigger than a 16hp engine, we might want to pay attention to the proposed horse power restrictions for Biloxi WMA.
Below is from the wild life and fisheries web site.

'Limiting the use of mud boats or air-cooled propulsion vessels on Biloxi WMA to straight shaft, long tail, air-cooled mud motors that are 16 total horsepower or less'

A comment titled: Rhino Linings in response to a report titled: Rhino Lining???

I currently have rhino liner in my 2009 Chevy Silverado. I will never put another rhino liner in a truck again. Doesn't hold up to normal use. I have numerous rips and tears in my bed liner. I should have stuck with Line X. Do yourself a favor and look into something other than rhino liner

A comment titled: Boat in response to a report titled: What boat for 25hp gtr

I agree with some of the other post. A mass produce hull will work good with a surface drive. The only place you may have problems with a ribbed mass produced hull is in water with a real hard bottom. Good luck and let us know what you choose.

A comment titled: Gator Tail in response to a report titled: Gatortail/ oil leaks and vibration

Get use to it been having a Gator Tail for about 5 years and it goes in shop at least once a year not counting the repairs I done myself . Right now its in the shop because the clutch went out. I had to replace multiple parts multiple times, 3 trim boxes and one rebuilt one, 3 reverse systems, bent prop shaft, hit somthing in water and cracked lower unit and engine got replaced after 48 hrs. The trailering bracket also broke this past season. I can say that Gator Tail does have great customer service. I'm not as rough with my motor as others claim to be. I guess I got the one built the day before a holiday. They all have problems, especially the ones with all the bells and whistles.Good luck and be safe with your Gator Tail

A comment titled: Buffle Heads in response to a report titled: duck in bayou black

We tried a couple of new spots on Sunday and ended shooting those buffle heads. This is the first year I ever killed a buffle head that's one of the great things about ducks you never know what might come flying into your spread. We scouted these spots the day prior and seen a bunch of big ducks, the big ducks must have moved out the area and the buffle heads moved in on Sunday. Be safe and good luck this weekend.

A comment titled: Ducks in response to a report titled: duck in bayou black

We also pluck most of our ducks, but we also cook more than the breast. To me a limit of ducks is a limit of ducks which is something everyone can be proud of, it doesn't matter if its teals, grey ducks, ring necks, spoon bills or if you killed them on a lease or public property. They are all fun to shoot and taste good if cooked right. A limit of ducks, fish, deer, etc is just extra I just love being in the outdoors having fun sharing these experiences with friends and family. I thinks some of us lose sight of what spending time in the outdoors is really about. The attached photo is from our hunt this past Sunday, it may be trash ducks to some of you and not worth bragging about because it's mostly diving ducks and not all big ducks, but I had a blast and can't wait to get back out and do it again
