I've hunted and had opportunities to kill this season, all in vain. now it seems the only time the deer are traveling through is at night. is there a way to get them moving again in the day time or have I missed my chance this year?

I haven't had any luck lately! even throwing the whole tacklebox at them, from top water to tight lining...with hardly any good results..is it just me or are you guys having a fall out this fall?

this is my second year to bow hunt, I recently bought my first crossbow and have got in a lot of practice with it, i'm just wondering if there are any seasoned hunters with a few tips for someone who doesn't have much experience hunting with a bow?

that is a crab apple, deer love them as well as persimmons...persimmons are more round and not shaped like the crab apple which looks like a mini pear

I am fishing some creeks and lakes up here in central Louisiana, so no saltwater fishing...I have been using live shiners trying to solicit a bite or two, it's just been too slow here lately...I need to pick up the pace

thanks so much, I appreciate the tips, I already have my stands up (tree stands) and I have ranged out the trails that the deer usually come on, I've practiced at those ranges as well. sounds like i'm on the right track already but I am grateful for the input, it helps so much.

I have a 27 acre hunting lease in my yard and i'm ten minutes away from wma, which I have scouted a good lil spot. I did use the crossbow last year with no opportunities to take a deer. I have had a lot of practice with my target and getting familiar with it...i'm just wondering if there are some little details I should know about owning and using a bow as opposed to my rifles and such.

I work really hard to maintain my property for hunting, I'm pretty sure this fella does too...it really breaks my heart tho when I finish a hunt and head home exhausted with no kill to be woke with rifle shots in the middle of the night from adjoining properties...do it right, or don't hunt at all..it's not supposed to be easy..you want the reward, put in the work!
