Are there GPS Maps that I can buy for my Garmin GPS that have the rig locations for West Bay out of Joshua's Marina in Buras? Id also like to get maps for the rigs out of Venice as well. (South, Southeast & Southwest Pass)

Anybody know where I can buy frozen pogies, beef melt or other kinds of bait that will work well for Crawfishing somewhere close to Baton Rouge or Henderson? I've seen videos on youtube of people using some kind of bait that looks like sausage for crawfish.

I was planning on running 20 pillow traps or so out of my kayak just for fun near Ramah, Henderson and maybe try Lake Verrett.

Questions:

1)How much bait do I need per trap? 2)And how long should I let the traps sit before checking them?

Okay I have 4 Moultrie Tripod Feeders. 2 of which have had water leak into the battery housing and flood the battery use to spin the corn. I'm getting aggrevated with this problem and thinking I may weld my own feeders from here on out!

Has anybody else had this problem?

I just got a new Honda Foreman 4x4 from Brookhaven Honda. I'm looking to put a Front Cargo Basket & Rear Cargo Drop Rack on the 4wheeler. I need the front cargo to be just below the Foreman's large headlight. Would like the Rear Cargo Drop Rack to be quite large so that I can transport plenty of stuff for food plot prep work and carry corn for my feeders.

Hey Guys! Trying to expand my fishing horizon. I've only fished magnolia and one spot in buras. I am very familiar with my fishing grounds in Magnolia.

I wanted to see if I could get a couple of new areas to explore in my kayak. Can yall give me a couple of areas that I could look into. If you have any maps that I could download from my email address that would be awesomeness. I would love to be able to catch more than just 5 redfish each day. That's all I can keep over there in Magnolia. I only catch Reds. Here's my email: Travis.Ryan.Hull@Gmail in case you dont want to broadcast all the details to anybody and everybody.

I wondering what your opinion is on using an Outboard Motor 25hp-50hp in the marsh for duck hunting. I'm thinking that if you keep the motor trimmed up you should be good.

I know traditional people use Geaux Devils or Pro-Drives but I'd like to be able to use the boat to do some fishing too.

Hey Guys,

I really need some advice from yall that are married that hunt.

I'm 26yrs old, work rotating shift work at a Plant in Port Allen, Louisiana. I'm just having a hard time figuring out how to manage to go hunting in Mississippi on my Family's land and not distancing myself from my girlfriend 'maybe wife one day'. I can't be the only person out there that works shift work and has this dilemma.

I really want to be able to hunt during deer season but I dont want my hobby to jeopardize my relationship/marriage one day. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

CAN YALL GIVE ME SOME GOOD ADVICE..... HOW YALL HAVE HANDLE THINGS WITH YOUR GIRLFRIEND or WIVE?

Hey Guys. I'm thinking about getting a boat that I can do speck/redfishing and still be bigger enough/ deep enough to go to the rigs and the midnight lump. Can yall give me some names of boats and I'll start looking into which boat to pursue? In your personal opinion, speck/redfishing in a T-top Center Console functional or just a pain in the butt?

I'm thinking along the lines of a 22-24ft deep hull that can handle going offshore occassionally to dive the rigs and go out to the lump to target YF & Hoos.

(PLEASE HELP ME OUT cause I want to make the right decision on what boat to go with. Thank you in advance for the boat hunting advice!)

I have a couple questions. I?m thinking bout using my Atv for food plots next year with a Tufline flip disc. My question is...What do other hunters use to remove all the dead leaves, grass, sticks and weeds from the designated area for your food plot before planting seed and covering with an Atv chain harrow? Since i dont have a front-in loader like with a tractor, so what do yall Atv food plot guys use to clear out the food plot area?

Hey I just wanted to thank yall for all the good advice. I think I'm going to get a 24' Blazer Bay boat. It's got a deep hull and lots of room to setup for diving the rigs. If yall own offshore boats or have friends, let me know I have been having trouble finding anyone to go offshore with. My e-mail is Travis.Ryan.Hull@Gmail.Com and my cell is (225) 202-6886. Thank yall for all the tips on what choosing the right boat.

A comment titled: Budget Boat in response to a report titled: POLL: What's a good boat for BOTH Inshore/Offshore?

My dilemma is that I have a Silverado 1500 V8- 2WD so I dont think that I'd be able to pull a deep hull 24-26ft offshore boat out the water at the boat launch.

Now if somebody knows that this can be done, please let me know. I'm thinking that I'm going to with a deep hull bay boat for now and I'll have to get a bigger truck if I want that 24-26ft offshore boat.

PS Thank yall for all the responses, this info is really helping me gameplan for my first boat. I really appreciate it guys!

A comment titled: ATV Disc in response to a report titled: Question: Food Plot Prep w/ ATV

This year I use a Chain Harrow behind my 4-wheeler and just went slow to make piles of leaves, stick, and weeds. I've seen the Bass Pro rack but it's mounted to the 4-wheeler. I wish that it had a coupling w/ a ball that would be the way to go.

How you put the two 5gallon buckets of concrete on the disc with it tipping over?
