Baton Rouge Area Archery Shop

Reply

Can anyone suggest a good archery shop around the Baton Rouge Area. I used to go to Archery Haven and always had good service but I think he's still closed. I don't necessarily mind going to Bowie but it's hit or miss on the quality of service in my opinion. I prefer to give my business to the small shops anyway.

A1 Archery -
A1 Archery is a small/local shop. Here is the info:
(225) 261-7506
14216 Greenwell Springs Rd, Greenwell Springs, LA

He helped me out a bunch this spring getting my new bow (that I bought in the classified here on LA Sportsman) tuned up and ready to go.

Good Luck!

go to bass pro and talk to Larry, he is an avid bowhunter and has been working on bows a while. hes a very good guy and he dont let anything go out the door half done, he will work with you one on one with your bow to properly set it and tune it to fit you. if you dont believe me just go up there and talk to him. he's always wheeling to help.

Shops
Thanks guys I appreciate it, I don't mind going to the bigger stores, including Bowie, but like I said I would rather find a small shop. Bass Pro and Cabela's will get along just fine whether I go there or not but with a small shop my business may actually make a difference. I was thinking of trying A-1 Archery but wanted a little feedback first. I do appreciate all the responses though.

hmm...
I don't know of any small shops in BR. If you go to cabela's ask for devin, chris, or dustin. They know what they are doing.
