Canal access & HB 391

Has anybody heard anything about Bayou Black Marina canal access/closure issue ??

Does anybody know what if anything is being done relative to bill in legislature for next year ??

We do NOT need to let this issue rest until the legislature is about to convene next year.
NOW is the time to act.

We have access to a list of all of our 'representatives(lol)' that voted against this bill, and it would be wise for all fishermen contact the 'NO' voting members to get them on board for next year. Many of the 'NO'
votes were from north Louisiana, and we need to find sportsmen groups from up there to help apply pressure.
Surprisingly, though, many 'NO' votes were from parishes below I-10.

Governor/state will invoke eminent domain on the Bayou black canal. The land will be owned by the state allowing access to the public. How will WLF, Emergency Personnel, Research Groups, Platform Workers and tax assessors have access to the main canal?
