New customers Mark Maclean and Tim Balin from Texas joined me today focusing on trout. The trout never turned on hot and heavy, but we steadily picked away at some nice fish. We ended up with a nice mess of fish to make everyone happy. Fun day with these guys.

Day two with Mark and Tim had us back looking for trout, but with the wind machine blowing we switched to plan B quick. We found a point stacked with reds and they caught 15-20, lots of 15 1/2 inch reds in the mix. Two more stops and we had the limit with a few bonus fish. Great two days with these guys and they already rebooked in November!!

Good customer from California Rick Woolsey and family were back onboard the Bluewave. With winds up we opted to stay inside for reds. Well it was fast and furious action from the first to the last cast. My guys put 25 reds in the boat in less then a 100 yard stretch. Easy and as fast as it gets, as we were done before 9 am. Big thanks to Capt L Barr and Capt G Ellender for taking care of Buck Fields crew from Texas and Capt C Lombard for taking care of Tom Villien crew. Everyone smashed the reds.

Day two with Rick Woolsey and crew from California had us looking for trout! Well it didn't take us long to locate and smash them! Fast and furious every-cast action on double rigged Matrix Shad today. The big specks were flying over the gunnels one after another. Simply good as it gets with lots of big smiles. Two incredible days with these guys that have been fishing with me for over ten years. Thanks for the continued business over all these years.

Tyler Mcdaniel rescheduled from a year ago due to rain. Today we focused on trout again, we found the big girls stacked up and feeding on our double rigged Matrix and Vortex Shad. The whacking and stacking was fast n furious. We had our 125 iced down in the K2 just after 9am. Good as it gets as there is no need for any of that live bait stuff!!!! Had a blast crushing the fish with these guys and look forward to their return.

Good customer Joey 'Big Country' Hedrick was back onboard once again. Trout was on the menu, and they didn't disappoint. The feeding frenzy began early again on our double rigged #matrix snd #vortex Shad. Trout up to 21 inches were flying over the gunnels and our limit was iced down just after 8 am. The bite has been hot and heavy and everyone leaving with plenty filets. No place better to fish than South Louisiana!! Always a pleasure fishing with Joey and his crew over the last ten years. Thanks for the continued business.
