Me and fellow NShore CCA Chapter Committee Member hit de ole T-Funky hoping the deluge the NShore got would not totally mess us up and we were greeted with very high and muddy T-Funky with a huge falling tide but we had a few tricks up our sleeves and we needed em as water was stained even in secluded spots normally pretty decent even with high T-Funky water levels. We were armed with Crappie Psychic ammo beads and trailers and I used exclusively Crappie Nibbles,Powerbait brand, neon chartreuse glitter and we only managed to take home 1 sac au lait and two decent goggle-eyes and released a few smaller perch and few bass, one that was about the size of some crankbaits I have.Showed buddy of mine some decent spots and think I will return tomorrow, hoping for not only better water conditions but better results!!!

Did incorrectly state that I used exclusively Crappie Nibbles but I failed to mention that I did attach the Crappie Psychic trailers, chartreuse, and the combination seemed to entice the bite, though the water was extremely muddy, hope tomorrow much better not only water quality-wise but results-wise as well!!Once the spawn over, probably gonna use depthfinder and downscan screens to pinpoint structure and deep-jig for dem slabs.Might surprise myself and locate some schools hanging around underwater debris, etc!!

i enjoy catching some goggle-eyes. the suck down my small peg float with a big gulp. not much of a fight sometimes they just give up and you can drag them in.

They are delicious to eat as well, not quite as much of a delicacy as sac au lait but darn good-eating.I rarely catch more than a few while jigging for T-Funky sacs but enjoy keeping the bigger ones.Lost not only a beast of a sac au lait today but also huge bull bream well over a lb!!
