Sorry we haven't written anything lately! Captain jack went out on a charter yesterday,'. It wasn't that great due to the wind! 7 reds, 5 trout and they were in for 11:30am! The wind was just out of control. Today Capt. Jack went out on a charter today, and there was a huge improvement! They caught 75 big, beautiful trout, 1 bullred that made someone's whole fishing trip and 2 sheepshead! Today lots of people came in with fish! Mega numbers of redfish, a good number of speckled trout and even a few drum! Very, very sorry for the people that weren't able to get live shrimp today! Due to the weather...the shrimper wasn't able to go get a load of shrimp for us! But the great news is.... we have a lot of live shrimp for tomorrow! If you get an opportunity and want to get on some fish, come on down! It gets better everyday! Unless there is 25-40 mph west northwest wind, then Capt. Jack says he doesn't care who you are it is pretty impossible to catch fish in those conditions! However, that seems to be over with, so come test out the fishing! The trout fishing seems to be pretty darn good and getting better! When you come, don't forget to come try our very successful food trailer! People are saying they can't wait to come back and eat with us again! Let Chef Richy whip you up a fresh hamburger, pulled pork sandwich or shrimp poboy...you won't regret it! It's absolutely delicious! Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Also, don't forget to call and book and stay at our lodge! We have the most convenient location, the most comfy rooms and great prices! Add on a charter with one of our fine captains and let them take you on a guided fishing adventure....you'll catch beautiful fish, make memories you can't forget and have a grand time! So, choose Sweetwater Marina! We have outstanding services!
