Capt. Jack fished with his father and their good buddy that they have hunted with, in Lafitte, for years! They left the dock for around 7am and came back in for around 10:30am, before the weather got bad! They caught 65 beautiful speckled trout! They didn't have time to fish for anything else due to trying to get back to the dock..before the weather set in! The weather should clear up by Friday, so this weekend should be the perfect opportunity for you to get out here for some of this great fishing action! The fishing in Delacroix has really been spectacular..you won't regret a trip to Sweetwater! Also, we do have plenty of live shrimp and minnows! When you come this weekend, don't forget to try out the food trailer! Chef Richy is in there every Friday, Saturday and Sunday preparing some delicious pulled pork sandwiched, burgers and shrimp poboys with fries and a drink! So, try it out! It's absolutely mouth watering! Don''t forget about our lodges...they are the in the most convenient location (being right across from the marina, the water and next to the food trailer that serves hot breakfast and lunch on the weekend), we offer free launches to the people that stay with us and they can leave their boat next to our docks overnight! Our rooms are reasonably priced, sleep a good number of people and are super comfy! So, come stay with us! We do have rooms that became available this Thursday night and Sunday! Call and look for dates that match your schedule..we don't mind! Want to go fishing? Book a charter with one of our captains! They are all absolutely amazing at what they do! You won't regret a trip with them, and you are guaranteed to return with plenty of beautiful fish, a smile on your face and a memory of a grand fishing trip that will last forever!
