I just picked up some whole pompano from the fish market for the first time. I was blown away how amazing these fish taste and I personally think they tare some of the best table fare available. My biggest question and was looking for help in how they are commercially harvested? I know that ppl catch them in FL panhandle this time of year but was also wondering if anyone has had any luck targeting them in the Louisiana? What time of the year, tackle and where? Any info is good info because I need to know how to go and catch some these bad boys.
