CAPTAIN PAUL'S EDGE IS NOT AN ACTUAL MAP

I do not provide physical memory cards or “Chips” of maps. The CAPTAIN PAUL FISHING EDGE programs are electronic downloads of fishing waypoints. These files area downloaded into your computer, then using a manufacturer’s data transfer program, in your case HUMMINBIRD PC, to view and transfer the data on to a spare memory card which is then loaded into your GPS unit. I have files written in the required Humminbird protocol for their data files.
As for the actual mapping, Humminbird units can ONLY use those specific mapping programs that are designed for their units. For marine use they specify certain models of Navionics mapping.
Go to the Humminbird web site (www.humminbird.com) and search for mapping accessories for your unit. Before making up your mind, go to a stocking Humminbird dealer and actually view the maps in a GPS unit like the one you have. Zoom in on your fishing areas and see if the map meets your fishing and navigation needs.
