North la duck hunting

I'm looking for a good spot to do some duck hunting on opening day ( Nov 21st) in north la. I know many of the wma's and refuges around the Monroe area have good duck hunting, such as Russel Sage Wma and D'Arbonne refuge, but which is best to go early in the season? I have scouted out Darbonne refuge and found some good holes, but I have heard sage is a really good spot to go. If I go to sage, is the green tree reservoir the best spot to go? Just curious as to which is the best location in the area, as both are fairly close. Any input would be appreciated!

Re: North la duck hunting
North LA is a different animal, and many boards/forums have almost no reports or information on the area as the general conception is that they're too crowded. This means that most people hunting there are tight-lipped. Google some other forums and search for the WMA names you mentioned and may turn up some older reports. If I knew the area, I'd share. That's what forums are for anyway.
