Season dates, migratory bird zones, deer hunting areas included
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has released its 2016-17 hunting rules and regulations pamphlet online.
Printed copies will be available throughout the state wherever hunting and fishing licenses are sold starting in August, but you can see the new pamphlet now by clicking here.
New for this year’s pamphlets are migratory bird zones, seasons and regulations, which were formerly printed in a separate brochure.
The pamphlet contains hunting rules, regulations and season dates for the 2016-17 season, including hunting information on Wildlife Management Areas and the state’s federal lands. It also contains the state’s 10 deer hunting areas and major changes for the 2016-17 season.
