They’re in close and not too hard to find
After crashing and burning on a couple of tripletail two weeks ago, I returned this week with my fishing buddy, Justin Bowles, and the tables were turned.
Despite absolutely terrible conditions for targeting the enigmatic fish, Bowles and I were successful in our quest early on in our attempt.
But that’s not all the day had in store. While motoring back to the dock, we came across an opportunity we just couldn’t pass up. About a half hour later, we were pulling aboard another offshore species.
Great things are happening in the region right now, and the fish are as close as they’ll ever be.
