The Drop-Let is reported to keep your bait in the strike zone longer by maintaining a constant depth throughout the length of the retrieve. It also lets you keep the bait stationary or jig vertically over a likely target.
Think of the Drop-Let as a bobber that allows you to fish any sinking bait vertically instead of only horizontally. This means you can ‘jig” a swimbait or other plastic in the water column right next to a tree or stump. It’s reported to be murder on crappie and bream as well as bass.
