R2S 2-Speed Spinning Reel

Anglers have relied on two-speed conventional reels for years. The combination of cranking power and a speedy retrieve rate are sometimes what it takes to land big fish. Now, Master Fishing Tackle is launching a new series of two-speed spinning reels that offer those same benefits — and extraordinary castability. Bring along the brute force, blistering speed and easy casting of a new Roddy R2S spinning reel on your next fishing trip. This reel comes in five models covering light to heavy-tackle fishing, each featuring on-the-fly shifting between high and low retrieve speeds.

Get ready for Splash Dogs

With winter drawing to a close, dog owners are looking for ways to engage their dogs physically and psychologically. Retrievers are looking for something to chase, and house dogs are tired of being indoors, and they too are looking for something to do.

This is what prompted Tony Reed to develop Splash Dogs, which allows dogs to stretch out and see how far they can jump. And this dock-jumping competition is fast becoming one of America’s most-popular outdoor events.

And the competition is again part of the Louisiana Sportsman Show this week, scheduled for March 16-19 at Gonzales' Lamar-Dixon Expo Center.
