Flounder and Bull Reds on Big Lake

We took a trip Sunday on Big Lake with Country Music artist, Jaryd Lane along with our friend Kade Shaw from SGS Charters. With a later start to the day and heavy winds out of the west, we couldn't get on a good morning trout bite. We were able to come across a school of reds and we picked a few out of. Jaryd's son, Cole, caught his first saltwater fish (bull red) on the Cajun Lures T-Jon in Gleaux color. The other red was caught on a Gleaux colored Mad Minna. To get away from the rough water, we went into a few marsh pockets and caught a good haul of flounder. We caught the founder on a mix of Gulp grubs and Cajun Lures PoBoy Grubs. All using 1/4oz Yellowmouth Jigheads. It was definitely a fun day and Capt. Kade certainly kept the trip memorable for us. Check out our video below!
