A few nice trout caught out of Cypremort Point today. Early AM bite, then slow. Bouncing a Golden Bunker Tsunami Pro 3 inch swim shad produce. Also, The Usual Suspects 4 inch Swagger Tail Shad in Cock of The Walk Color worked well. Good luck fishing.

Made the best of a late start to a windy day. Fished Lake Decade from Falgout's Marina. Fished with Chartreus sparkle beetle 4' deep under a cork. This method produce a larger trout that averaged 17 inches. After putting 22 trout on ice, we hit the marsh to add a few Redfish to the box. Good luck fishing to all.

Cypremort Point
11/21 Fishing today with Brent McDonald in Vermillion Bay. After a short ride from the landing, it didn't take long to sling a 3 lb trout over the gunnel.. Once again trout fell victim to the sound of a Cajun Thunder Cork with clear & chartreuse sparkle beetles. Slow retrieve on bottom also produced. Looking forward to fishing area again for some hawgs.

11/4 Another great day of fishing in Dularge, La. This Texas couple wanted to experience some Louisiana fishing, and that they did. Joining me today was Shane & Ninah. First cast and fish on! Texas size smiles were on these guys faces most of the day. After catching well over 100 trout, we put 70 fish on ice and call it a day to beat the weather in. TTF East Beast color & LSU Bayou Chub under a Cajun Thunder Cork worked well.

Birthday Trash Talking
11/3 Joining me in Dularge were: Hunter, Josh & Tyler on a trip given to Hunter by his mother Sherri for his B-day. These good friends came together from near and far to satisfy a passion for fishing. It did not take long for these boy to go to work on slinging trout over the gunnel. Plenty of steady action and laughs this day. Many trout did not make the size limit. Managed to put a box of 50 trout and a couple redfish together. Tandem LSU color Bayou Chub under Cajun Thunder cork worked best..

Red October
10/3 On board with me today was Mr. Dickey Mannina, who once again put on a one man show. Started the day slamming trout on deck two at a time fishing under diving Seagulls. Just about any color plastic was working, key was to cast right under the birds and stick with them. Finished off the day catching some nice Redfish using cracked crab.

10/4 Joining me was Mr. Wiley Collins for a mid day trip. We set out to find some trout action with minimal success. Only a few trout hit the deck. Fished the banks with market shrimp under a cork and managed some success with the Redfish. No limits on these trips, but truly enjoyed fishing with these gentlemen.

Redfish Action
9/6/12. Fished yesterday out of Dularge,La. Quick success in finding redfish lurking in the deep inland marsh. Tide was high and water clarity was stained. Fish were holding tight against the grass feeding on small crab and shrimp filtering through the grass. Every fish was caught on a gold spoon rigged with the skirt. Boxed 10 redfish to take home, then called it a day. Enjoy your time on the water.

Fast action in Dularge
Thur 6/14...Less wind and 1 foot seas drew me in on a place to get a pre dawn furious top water trout bite, and that it was. Floating Chatreaus glo DOA got the job done. My Texas crew wanted numbers and a quick return to shore. As the sun was starting to rise we settled on 75 trout and headed in. One glance at a shoreline on the way in revealed redfish ambushing bait along the bank. Made a quick stop to add two bronze backs to the chest.
