About Us

I am the most productive guide in the Delacroix area.I catch speckle trout as my targeted species.

Delacroix Louisiana is located about 30 minutes south east of New Orleans. Lodging is available onsite. You will fish aboard a 25ft Parker center console boat. The boat is setup for live bait fishing and is very stable and comfortable to fish from.

Rates are $650 for 4 anglers which includes bait, fuel, ice and tackle. Call for other rates.

2 Day quick reportrnrnBEEN ON THE TROUT FOR THE LAST 6 WEEKSrnrn4/24. Had Cody and his girlfriend on the boat.We managed to put 48 trout in the box.The tide was slack at first the it started to come in with the strong east wind.rnrn4/245. Had Bill and his two buddies on board today.What a difference z day makes.A strong ST wind had the tide falling hard in the morning.At around 11am we only had 9 trout and 2 reds in the boat. Could not get trout to bite for anything.Finally the tide started to slack up and we put 20 Drum in the boat in a 1/2hr.THen the trout started to bite with alot of throwbacks.We had 28 trout in the boat when we saw the weather coming.rnrnTo book a trip callrnCapt. TROUT HAVE BEEN BITING IN DELACROIXrnrnHad Ryan, Timmy, and Chris on the boat today.Started off at the end of the falling tide this morning.Water has not been as clean as has been.Caught fish at almost every stop but could only put 5 or so in the box at each stop.There were plenty throwbacks today.When the tide started coming in nothing much changed with the bite.rnGETTING MY BOAT BACK THIS PM ALL fish were caught on 3/8oz sliding sinker in 12 ft of water on live sh rdimp.rnrnTo book callrnCapt. BAD DAY AT THE OFFICE
I THOUGHT YESTERDAY WAS A TUFF DAYrnrnHad Bill and his family scheduled again for today.The weather was bad this morning so we pushed it back to 1pm.rnNOW THE FUN STARTS.I got the boat ready and was going to pick them up when my motor problem surfaced again as I was docking..CRASHED into the slip because the motor would not shift into reverse. MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT...had to get towed back to the slip and had to get another captain to take out (thanks capt. Randall).Had to tow the boat to the boat ramp and put it on the trailer.rn Have to bring it to the shop monday am.rnThanks to Bill and his son for helping me and trying to fix my motor problem.rnWill be out of the water for a couple of days.rnCapt kim 504 884 6027

125 TroutrnrnTROUT ARE BITING IN DELACROIXrnrnI had Louis, Todd, Marvin,and Andrew . On board today from the Baton Rouge area.We left at 6:15 am. The first stop was slow and we put about 25 in the box.Second stop was better but had more throwbacks.we had about 60 by then.Then the 3rd and last stop was the ticket catching trout on the bottom until we had 125 in the box and the rain came at the same time around 10am.rnrnALl fish were caught on a 3/8oz sliding sinker in 12 ft of ate on live shrimp. rnrnTo book a trip callrnrnCapt. NO RAIN IN DELACROIXrnrnTROUT ARE BITING IN DELACROIXrnrn Woke up at 5am and checked the radar, no rain.Got to the boat for 6:30am.The tide was still falling at my spot.It took a couple minutes to get the first trout in the boat.Caught about 10 and they quit.I made a cast about 20 ft further right and that's is where they were trying to hide from me.At 7:40 am I had my limit of 25 trout in the box.The rain started after I cleaned the fish.rnrnAll trout were caught on 3/8 Oz sliding sinker on live shrimp in 12 ft of water.rnrnTo book a trip callrnCapt. Made 2 trips todayrnrnTROUT ARE BITINGrnrn1st. Had Taco, Gary, Craig and Sergio on board today in the morning.The tide was just barely coming in early in the morning.We put 65 trout in the box at the first stop. We made 2 more stops and put the rest of trout in the box for a total of 117 trout.We were vack at the dock for10:30am.rnrn2nd.
