GOOD TRIP ON FRIDAY
Fished Friday with Wes, Chad, and Carlos from the Baton Rouge area. Started off slow around the island, so we went North to find some fish. Got to the first spot and the birds were working the fence. For an hour straight we caught fish from 11' to 16' and we kept 70 fish. Great early fall day on the water. Used plastics live and everything in between the fish ate everything. rnrnStill have a boat open on Friday and Saturday if anyone would like to make a trip to the island. Fishing is getting better every day.rnrnThanks Capt. Frankrn225-202-2584rnfrank@laidbackcharter.com

NOT TO BAD OF A WEEKEND
Had a fun group of guys this past weekend. Good weather and clean water.rnWe were able to fish in the open bays around rigs and oyster reefs. The water was green and fish started to bite when the tide moved. Got on some nice trout on Saturday and Sunday we caught a few reds as well.rnOn my boat it was shrimp under a cork and croackers on the bottom. Some plastics are starting to work, but in the coming weeks I will start using more plastics then live.rnrnI've got one open boat this Saturday (9/17) and one boat open for next Friday and Saturday (9/23-24) if anyone would like to catch some fish. Its getting better ever day.rnrnThanks Capt. Frankrn225-202-2584rnfrank@laidbackcharter.com

Friday Saturday and Sundays OPEN for next two weekends
Do to flooding area southeast Louisiana I haven't been able to run trips for the past two weekends, but I do have the next two weekends open if anyone would like to catch some fish.rnI think just getting away from all the destruction around Baton Rouge would help me and anyone that would like to run.rnFishing seems to be ok on the island from what I hear. Live shrimp and croackers are still the answer.rnrnHope to see y'all on the island, and my prayers go out to everyone that was effected by the flood water.rnrnThanks Capt. Hot Days on The Water!!
Its been HOT, but the fishing continues to get better and better. \r\nHad the past Friday off to do some work on the boat, but picked right back up on Saturday.\r\nFished in the open bays on Saturday and Sunday with the same results; 20 to 30 trout and maybe a red or two each day. Little slow this weekend due to no tide. Lots of boats on the beaches but not much better results.\r\nCroakers on the bottom seemed to be the bait of the day in every spot we went. Shrimp just didn\'t do it this weekend. Its believed that the fish maybe have spawned this weekend and just were not biting. \r\n\r\nAll in All it was a great weekend with all my new friends and there families. \r\n\r\nGot a few opening in July; 17th, 19th, 21st, 23rd, and 24th\r\n\r\nThanks Capt. NICE FISH ON THE BEACH
Family and friend weekend for the most part. Lots of no fishing activities going on at the camp. Great time!!!rnrnFish with clients on Friday and it was windy and slow with the fish. Most people have around 20 fish or so and I was right there with them, but Sunday rolled around and we where able to get on the beach. No a lot fish but the ones we caught very nice!!rn Mondays trip with clients was the best of the weekend because the weather got right and winds died down to nothing. Ended the day on the beach with 50 nice trout and a few redfish.rnAll caught on croakers on the bottom and under a cork. Shrimp caught mostly catfish (tourist trout).rnrnStill have Monday (June 6th) open if anyone would like to catch some fish.rnrnThanks Capt. Frankrn225-202-2584rnfrank@laidbackcharter.com

Slow on the Island this weekend
Slow days because of the high winds and muddy water. rnrnFished on Friday with Brain Patton, and had to move around a lot, but we found some clean water north of the island. Put about 25 trout and a few reds in the boat. Fish on Saturday with Eryc and Victor not to good on the numbers but the size of the fish was very nice. Weather got bad and had to come in before the rains began. rnrnAll fish caught on live shrimp under a cork and on the bottom. rnrnIt want be long before the croaker bite will be the call of the day. Beach is heating up and the fish are very large.rnrnP.S. Eryc caught his biggest trout to date at just over four pounds.rnrnGot June 6, 8, and 10th open next month and a few day left for May. Call and book a trip and lets have some fun on the water.rnrnThanks Capt. Frankrnrn225-202-2584rnrnfrank@laidbackcharter.comrnrnfacebook : laidbackcharter

GREAT WEEKEND OF FISHING AND FUN!!
With the bad forecast at hand and 7 folks on the island wanting to fish, we made it on Friday.rnHad to boats and 6 people(one had to much fire water and stayed at the camp) all together. Fished north of the island and found one spot that had good water, and a few birds working the area. Stop and put 84 trout in one boat and 55 in the other boat. rn Had Saturday booked with the same folks, but I made the call that morning. Winds between 25-35knots on the island doesn't go well with catching fish.rn The guys had a great weekend with us and went home with plenty of fish. Thanks to Capt. Hunter for running second boat.rnrnThanks Capt. Frankrn225-202-2584rnfrank@laidbackcharter.com
