FISH WITH THE KING
GOOD DAY AT THE BEACH!! I had the pleasure of fishing today with good friends Brian and Cordell Haymen along with their long time friend Rick. The guys are the owners of Petroleum Services from Baton Rouge. Brian is spending the summer in Montana and likes to bring lots of fish from Southeast Louisiana. We fished hard but he wasn’t disappointed. We ended the day with 68 pretty speckled trout, 2 reds, 3 puppy drum and a few heads. We caught some pretty trout today fishing the rocks. Capt Rory fished with Ray King the original Silver Bullet gang from Hattiesburg Ms. They had a group of 4 anglers They limited out catching 100 speckled trout and a big red. We are all back it tomorrow and will post a report. It was a little breezy today. Sure hope it dies down for tomorrow.CHARTER INFO 504 881-9966

PRETTY TROUT IN THE SOUND
EXCELLENT BITE IN THE SOUND!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with Tom, Storming Norman, Frank and Louis. The guys are in a fishing club of 40 members out of Destin FL. They came in town for two days of fishing. Capt Dane ran the other boat. Today we fished Breton Sound and got on a decent fish bite early. The guys wanted to leave late. When we go out Captains Jakamo and Rory were on a good fish bite. We moved to a spot not to disturb them and got the fishing going pretty good. We had 75 fish in the boat when Capt Jakamo called and said he was on an outstanding bite. We ran over to where he was fishing and the fish ate up. We ended the day with 125 good speckled trout and left them biting. We also caught 2 bul reds 1 big drum and a pompano. I called Capt Dane over but he said he was on a good bite. All the fish were caught on Campo’s live shrimp and a popping cork. It makes it a lot easier when you fish as a team. You can cover a lot of ground with a radio. We are back at it tomorrow and will post a report with pictures. .

REDS REDS REDS!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with good friends Glenn Clements, his Queen Paul who also happens to be a fishing Queen, her son Ryan, her Dad Paw Paw, Brandon and his 9 year old son Collin. With the wind blowing out the west for 3 days I figured the best shot was to go straight out and look for the reds and heads. Give the water a time to straighten out in Eloie. There was a lot of catfish in the sound today. We fished hard limiting out on big reds catching a total of 14 along with 3 puppy drum. The wind picked up and kicked our butt on the way back. Glen had said he wanted Collin to catch a big red and young Colin stole the. He had a trip he will never forget. he fell to sleep on the leaning post in a 3 foot head on chop. you know he was tired. Tghen he woke up like a born again ready to fish. I also fished a few days ago with Wayne and Barry. We fished windy conditions catching 35 speckled trout 2 reds and a puppy drum. Fishing tomorrow and will post a report. .

ANOTHER GOOD DAY AT THE OFFICE!! The view out the window wasn’t great with rain all around us but that didn’t stop the fish from biting. I had the pleasure of fishing today with Wayne Brown and his friend Barry. My brother Harry also jumped on. They guys came in town for two days of fishing and they were not disappointed in the first day. We got on a good trout bite early putting 68 in the boat. We also caught 4 redfish and a 30 pd drum that we turned loose. The fish were eating Campo’s live shrimp like popcorn and the porpoises were trying to eat the fish off the line. Talk about a wild morning. We were dry until the last 3 miles up the ship channel. A fun day fishing and a good time was had by all!!! .

RATHER BE LUCKY THEN GOOD!!!!!! Have been fishing a few days last week. The speckled trout fishing has range from 30 trout 2 heads and 1 big red 66 trout 4 heads and 2 reds 80 trout and 3 reds. My daughter Tiffany was in town and we had a lot going on. Today had the pleasure of fishing with Keith Didier his boss Bob along with the trout master himself Chuck and close second Toby. These guys can fish and know how to have a good time. We fished off the channel catching 76 speckled trout and 6 reds. Did not know what to make of the forecast with the 80 % chance of rain and 15-20 mph east wind. The wind was howling and we did not see a drop of rain till we got back to the dock. Hoping to get another one in tomorrow if the weather gives us a shot. !

FUN DAY @ THE BEACH!!!!!!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with the Norman T Wilson group. The T stands for trout but it could have been r today. The guys came down last night from Meridian MS and we got an early start today. Capt. Rory and I ran the group. In my boat were Norman Michael Johnson and my first mate Capt. Ed. Capt. Rory fished with Ty Hinson John Jackson and Ricky price. We had a good day and almost beat the rain back to the lodge. We ended the day with 35 reds 12 puppy drum 6 trout and 1 flounder. FUN DAY @ THE BEACH!!!!!!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with good friend Stanly Fink AKA one of the pack. His friend Mike is in town from Chicago for 10 days. Convention and Jazz fest. Mike also had a couple of friends Warren and Bill that jumped on. The guys had very little experience. Accept for Stan, he is a good as it gets. We fished the Delacroix side and put a good box of fish together. They had birds in the bays along the ride, mostly small fish. It gave the guys a chance to practice casting and catching. We went in a couple of ponds I like to fish with windy conditions and got on a couple of fast bites. We limited out on reds catching 25 along with 6 speckled trout we kept. The reds were 16 =20 inches with plenty throwbacks in trout and reds today. . We also had 6 puppy drum and a few heads. A nice box and a good time was had by all. We did not take a dock shot today. Always fun to fish with Pack. I really appreciate the help Stan, thanks again.

FISH WITH THE KING
WIND WIND WIND!!!!!!! The wind has been howling all April. Today was no exception. Had the pleasure of fishing today with longtime friend Billy Martinez Bean Warren and Ben. The guys have been fishing with me for a while now and know how to have a good time. Weather the fish bite are not they are going to have fun. That’s what it’s all about. Well we got lucky and the fish bit pretty good today. Started off in the Lake robin area. Steady action but lots of throw backs. We found some clean water in an area I like to fish off of Bayou Bernard and starting to put some fish in the boat. We would stick and move all day. Fishing Campos live shrimp and dead we ended the day with 21 reds 15 speckled trout 3 drum 2 heads and 1 flounder. The guys are good fisherman and that always makes it easier fishing these conditions. The trout are about to turn on. These late fronts are slowing the bite down. Weather should straighten out in the near future. Give us a call and get on the books. .

GOOD DAY AT THE BEACH!!!!!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with Scott Woodward his son Mike and son’s friend Brandon Harper. Scott is the athletic director at the University of Washington. I real good guy and good fisherman. Let me tell you we put the geri geri on em!!!!! Geri Geri is the name of the kid’s band. We made one stop and limited out on res along with a bunch of puppy drum and heads. We mad one more move and got on another fast bite. The guys wanted to catch reds and we did that fast turning reds loose to fight another day. We came back into bay eloie and fished trout. We put 18 in the boat and headed for the barn. Talk about fun day. We ended the day with 6 reds and a bunch of drum heads along with the 18 trout. Talk about a fun day. We have been on an outstanding fish bite all winter and spring. We have live shrimp and fishing is goooood. Give us a call and get on the books.

BEAUTIFUL MORNING @ THE BEACH !!!!!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with Chuck his wife Joe and nephew Greg. The group is in town from Alberta Canada. We were to fish Monday but with the weather we changed the date. The weather was nice this morning. A little cool and less the 10 mph NE wind. Chuck loves to catch red fish. I told him I thought he would be in for a treat today. Our first stop in the sound we limited out on big reds along with 2 slots. We also had puppy drum and heads. We made a couple of more moves and filled the big box to the top. We ended the day with 9 reds we could keep. Turned at least 20 loose. We also had a bunch of heads and puppies. Talk about a fun nonstop action day. Live shrimp tomorrow morning at Campos. We will let you know how we do.

Fish With The King
TWO STOP SHOP!!!!!!!! We got up this morning to a pleasant surprise light wind on the buoys. Capt. Jakamo and I went straight for the sound. We had fog on the run out. Got into the sound and had less than a foot chop. Darrin Eric and Collin were in for a treat. Before we could get the boat hooked up and straight., we had a red fish on with 2 double hook ups from there. We had our big red fish limit on 5 minutes mixed in the heads and puppy drum. The guys were good fisherman and filled the big box fast. When that slowed we made one more move and it was a repeat performance. I called Capt. Jakamo over with his crew Jason Ed and Rusty. . The fog was thick and we never found each other. He was not far as I heard them screaming with joy. Both boats limited out on reds with a few slots. We also had a bunch of heads and puppy drum. Capt Jakamo also had a pompano. A group of really good guys that know how to have a good time. Check out the pictures and give us a call. We are on a good fish bite and the trout will show up soon. FISH WITH THE KING
SHELL BEACH REPORT!!!!!!! Fished yesterday with the strong wind and rain. Had the pleasure of fishing with Mikael Noah and McKenzie. We got up to bad conditions. I told them not to go, the weather was bad. If we caught 15 fish we would have a good day. Mike is a diehard fisherman as are his kids. He said let’s go!!!!!!! I went down to the boat to get it ready. When I looked up they had on shorts with short sleeve shirts. Told them they were going to be cold let’s get more cloths. He said lets go. Talk about hard core. The guys fished their butts off. We ended the day with 14 fish. 11 Reds 2 drum a head and 1 trout. The group cut up all day and were fun to fish with.


RED NECKS STORM THE BEACH!!!!!!!!!!. Had the pleasure of fishing with some really good guys and good fisherman. Had the pleasure of fishing today with Darrin Eric and Collin in my boat. My brother Harry must have lost his mind. He jumped on with the 20 mph winds today. This is the 6 year they came down to fish with us. Capt. Rory ran the other group Jason Ed and Rusty. The group is from Missouri Ark MS and Ten. We fished towards Lake Robin again. Both boats got lucky today. We had a nice catch on the dock. Ended the day with 20 reds 14 speckled trout 18 puppy drum and a couple of flounders. Rory had the most drum, my group had the most reds. Check out the pictures. The catch surprised me. As my friend Stanly says you gota go to know. The only thing I can say is rather be lucky then good

Spring fishing is about to start. We will have live shrimp in late march or early april. the speckled trout love live shrimp and croaker.

BANKERS HOURS !!!!!!!!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with Mark Bonifacic Charles and Eugene. Eugene is in town from NY. The guys wanted to show him fishing in SE Louisiana. They wanted him to catch 1 good red. Well after 4 stops in the sound, a box full of fish and 20 reds released they said they had enough. Talk about a fun morning. We ended the day with 8 reds we kept along with 10 puppy drum and a few heads. Lost track of how many we turned loose. Had double and triple hook ups at every rig. All the fish were caught on compos dead shrimp on the bottom.

SHELL BEACH REPORT
I HAVE ANOTHER ONE!!!!!!! That was the battle cry of the day. Had the pleasure of fishing with Forest fife and Elizabeth along with good friends Greg Hill and his wife Rhonda. The girls had never done battle with the big reds and did they have a good time. We made 4 stops in the sound and had drags screaming in every direction at every stop. Talk about a fun day. We ended up keeping 9 reds and turning at least 20 loose along with 8 puppy drum a bunch of heads and a pompano. All the fish were caught on campos dead shrimp on the bottom. We had the big box filled to the top along with 4 five gallon buckets. The fishing has been crazy good in Feb and March. I look for it to only get better as we get into summer. We will have live shrimp in early April if not sooner. Give us a call and get on the books

LOVE MY JOB!!!!!!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with good friend Mike Botnick his sons Chris and Matt. Mike and I went to junior high together and they have been fishing with me for years. We waited for the rain to go by this morning starting to leave the dock for 7:30. We went for the sound. When I hit the open water is was beautiful. You could see 3-4 feet in 10 feet of water. Made a few stops and got on a crazy red fish bite. We kept 15 and turned at least that many loose. Talk about a fun morning. We also had a few heads and a puppy drum in the mix along with 2 flounder. We filled the box to the top. The guys said they had enough fish and went for the lodge. Fishing is really good for February. The red fishing has been outstanding.
