Monday morning 4/7/8
Fished down in Dularge with Merlin Pritchard and Holt Harrison this morning from the Baton Rouge area.
Had a great time catching trout on a variety of plastics baits. All the fish were caught in 2-3 foot of water over
reefs. By 10 am we were a few shy of the limit. (All trout were 16-19 inches). Then the wind came up and we called it a day.sorry no pics forgot camera.
Fished with John Ward from Missouri today. Unable to get to the trout hole. Too windy so we went to plan B. Red fish in the ponds at 10am we had our limit. Kept one for the grill and a few for a tomato gravy. We released the rest to fight again at a later date. The reds were caught on black and ST and LSU color plastics.

Day 2 wed. was hot and heavy upon arrival. Linda, Jim,and Madeline put 75 trout in the boat the first hour of fishing. Because the stiff south winds dirtied the water. It took another hour and a half to put the last 25 trout in the boat. All the fish were caught off of limestone rocks.
Using LSU & Black & ST soft plastics. Don't miss out on the fun. Book your trip now.
