LATE REPORT 11-4-04 I helped out Capt Charlie today with a group from Denham Springs La, my crew was Troy, Greg and Mike a great bunch of guys. We got on the fish our first stop trout and a few reds nice way to start. Moved on and found some birds diving and put some more trout in the box. Several more spots no trout so after the reds. Found them off a point right out from a drain feeding along with the trout. We put several nice reds and some more trout in the box and left them biting. All fish fell to live bait under a cork. great day I had a lot of fun with these guys especially Greg with his POGO CORK. Thanks to capt Charlie for putting me with this group. Sorry no pictures I left my camera in the truck. 45 trout 6 reds Capt Gene Dugas Rather be Fishing Adv. 985-640-0569 or 985-863-7563
November 5, 2004 - Wayne and Terry from Georgia were ready to go early this morning for some LOUISIANA speckled trout and redfish action. We headed out at first light and got on the trout at my first stop Lake Amedee. The tide quit coming in so I headed further out to find the falling tide. Made a few stops with nothing then hit pay dirt of a point near Four Horse off the pipeline. Beautiful trout steady action on live shrimp and SPECULIZER. Stayed right there to limit out. Now it was redfish time two stops later we were on them. Terry landed the biggest red 29 inch 10 lbs along with a few more. It was an AWESOME DAY nice weather and HOT fishing. I had a great time with this crew and Wayne and Terry are planning to come back again soon they LOVE LOUISIANA FISHING. First stop and it was on The tide was incoming off of Lake Ameda and the trout hungry. Live shrimp and and doa,s under a cork was what we fed them. Pat and dukie were put a whuppin on the trout and caught their limit by 9;00AM. We tried several points for reds picking up a few. Then switched over to spoons and trolled the banks. This is Pat's favorite way to chase reds and a few found their way into the box. AWESOME DAY the weather held off just long enough for us to make a great trip. 50 SKECKS 4 REDS CAPT GENE DUGAS RATHER BE FISHING ADVENTURES 985-640-0569 www.RatherBe-Fishing.com
