I love to hunt for squirrels, although I don't do nearly as much as I used to. Used to hunt rabbits years ago, and did some duck hunting with my youngest son when he was home and in school.

I primarily fish speckled trout and redfish. I also love to fly fish for bream, but haven't done fly fishing in some time. I fish specs most anywhere. I have about 6 favorite lakes, including Lake Amedee out of Reggio's, the Sulfur Mine and Catfish Lake in Golden Meadows, Lake DeCade south of Houma, and in the spring/summer, Last Island out of Cocodrie.

I retired from a major oil company in 1998, after 32 years of service. I am a Chemist by profession, earning a Magna Cum Lade degree in 1966 at Nicholls State University. Other than being active in my church in LaPlace, the bulk of my time is spend gardening, fishing and traveling to visit our 4 kids and 7 grandkids in Georgia and Virginia
