Caught this buck on my Trail Cameras several times this summer. I nick named him Hollywood cause he loves the cameras. I dont know?? Maybe it's cause they got a pile of Corn & Record Rack in front of each Camera!!LOL!! Just wondering if you guys would like to input on a estimated age. I think he is a 4 yr old. Please only educated guesses with reasoning...

I can vouch for Blackffoot. He is out of North Texas and also does a Goose/ Duck hunt in Saskatchewan Canada. He is a great outfitter. I ahvent hunted with him in Tx but im sure its just as good. Myself and 5 freinds made that canada trip last year.If you are a die hard waterfowler its worth it. We wore em out!!! Whole trip including Airfare and everyhting was $2500.

Also arrow spine has alot to do with the way your broadheads control your arrow nose. Also take a close look at your fletching size as compared to your broadhead. EXample: You must have a big enough rudder to steer the boat. Try a 2 inch blazer quick spin. After your arrow straightness and broadhead tuning is checked and you are shooting the correct arrow spine for your draw weight and length and you experiment on some fletchings, then ive seen a situation to where a freind of mind swore by G5 Montec even though a MX3 flew better / He sighted his bow to his broadheads and went to the treestand. Sometimes you do what ever it takes...

WTF is all this BS about . You people need to chill . I dont care if the deer scored 200" or 100". Its a nice deer. And so what if its smaller than what some would shoot. If you are a Hunter and you pass up a mature buck that scores 140" . Than your pissing in the wind and you have forgot what the sports about. Chill the F**K out!

A comment titled: 1/2 year in response to a report titled: Think u can Age this Buck??

Half year increments only apply when you are aging a deer during hunting season; typically octber through january. Whitetail gestation(length of pregnancy) is 198 days . Whitetail Doe's start moving there fawns about ten days after birth. This can also tell you when your rut is. If you see a spotted fawn on a game camera or in the woodds that appears new born you can back date 10 days plus 198 day gestation and thats when your RUT is. When you'll start seeing spotted fawns is during the early summer months so at hunting season they are a half or so year old. Thats where the half comes from. Hope it helped.

A comment titled: The Input is awesome in response to a report titled: Think u can Age this Buck??

Here is my Take..Sorry; i just love whitetail's so much im very opinionated. If you study the QDMA guide you will read that its not a good chance that a 2 yr old will ever develop enough antler growth to make his spread go outside his ears which could be 14-17 inches. This guy is obviously over 20 inches . So i had a hard time beleiving that on this particular property he would make that big of a jump as a 3 yr old. Due to the lack of summer nutrition (which is when antlers grow)i figured the deer was a 4 yr old . Regardless of body size. We are in the south. Deer lose excessive amounts of weight in the spring and summer unlike in the Midwest where Corn and Soybeans are at there best during the summer. And the deer are at peak weight when the season starts. Its my belief that belly sag and brisket distinction are affected by weight. So i focused my aging strictly on his head and head gear...Thanks fellas keep the opinions coming

A comment titled: Camera in response to a report titled: Pre Season

Just like to make a comment on the camera. I have over 15 cameras on my place and i have 4 Wildgame Innovations $99 Models, 4 Moultries and The rest Cuddebacks. Those Wilgame Cams are great for the price and Wildgame Innovations is out of Lafayette so support your local boys.. Good Deer bro 135 to 140 class deer. Regardless of where he's at in the country deer dont develop base trash like that unless they are mature. If you have the resources then let him walk. If you fear his death by someone else; shoot him, cause hes old enough to harvest but not old enough to Decline if he lives another year..... Dam Haters??

I have several pics of him and ive scored him like 10 times. I come up with 144-149. I had a hard time pegging him at 3 due to the fact that hes over 20 inces wide. I also thought that his weight and back was due to being so light from lack of summer nutrition. I hope to see him in December.... Thanks for the comment
