Hey man i have a 24' fishmaster,225 suzuki, don't get me confused with these idiots please,i had people crowd me last weekend and it is agrivating but you just have to deal with it,i try not to fish weekends, but my dad can only fish them,he acomidated me when i was young so i do the same for him.
E-mail me i can give a little info and maybe a few spots.
Went out this morning, after waiting out a few storms, picked up a few nice ones between all the white trout and crokers, had to be back for 10:00,all around the point,it was pretty rough ,the water was crap at dry reef.
V-bay is not feast or famine, you just have to know how to fish it,stick with it and wait for some good tide movement, fishing has been pretty good for me around dry reef and the trash pile,if you fish the birds you probably will catch mostly lady fish.Try black/chart.tail cocahoes on 1/4 ounce jig heads, slow steady retrive on the bottom. If you are fishing on the weekends beware of all the idiots!!!!
If you had 90 fish one day and 82 the next, and you took the time to post pictures, why do i only see 7 trout???
Not a exact location but what area around burns point,if you don't mind.
I'm from new iberia ,fish the bay on a regular basis,i would love to get in,redfish or trout.
Mostly redfish, every once in a while you can catch a few specks. If you have never been there be careful, the average depth in the lake is not much over three or four foot except where the salt mine caved in you have several hundred feet.
