Do I really believe it could happen, no.
But, I do think it would send a message.
Maybe it would be heard?

Sure give them up, the police will protect you.

Oh, forgot.

They don't protect anybody, just react.

First guns, then freedom of speech.

You should file under your home owners policy.

Have to say, if I was your boat policy holder and something was stolen out of your garage, I wouldn't pay either, just sayin.

To buy a gun, cabellas hands down. BP gun salesmen are rejects and for the most part, gun stupid. Their attitude and people skills suck. Not enough of them either. Outside of guns, pretty much the same.

A comment titled: Youth and compact barrels in response to a report titled: managed recoil ammo

The shorter barrel is probably adding to the drop.\\r\\nIf it is a youth gun, the barrel is probably 16.5 inches or so.\\r\\nYou are loosing more velocity as when compared to a 24 or 26 inch barrel. What would be a 3 or 4 inch drop w a 24 inch barrel is a 6 inch drop with a 16.5,inch barrel. \\r\\nI would not be surprised if you see a right shift as well. \\r\\nMaybe 2 inches. Common on shorter barrels similar loads.

A comment titled: Nope in response to a report titled: i agree

Yea, But you said you shot 30-30s out of it and it shot fine. If the chamber was so bad a 308 would chamber, I assure you, you would have known it when you shot it.

A comment titled: Nope in response to a report titled: wrong rifle shell in gun

Something is wrong with this story.
A 308 will not chamber in a 30-30.
The shoulder is too big. Won't even begin to fit.
A 30-30 will fit in a 308 chamber, but the bolt won't lock because of the size difference.
Somebody is imagining things..

A comment titled: Chain in response to a report titled: anchor chain

Depends on the boat, anchor and use.
Generally speaking, I would say 10 feet.

A comment titled: Rope in response to a report titled: Fishing the midnight lump

You need about 600 feet of rope and about 15 feet of chain.
I would say an anchor retrieval bouy is almost a necessity. You will know why after pulling in all that rope, chain and anchor.

A comment titled: Here is the skinny in response to a report titled: Buying used boat

Tybo has it right.
On a used boat, you only pay taxes on the trailer.
When you go to register it, they will give you a form to bring to your parish tax collector and the state office in BR. They both have to sign and stamp as no taxes required.
The KEY words to use are 'casual sale'.
Go to the LDWF website, you can download the forms there. You don't need an appointment in BR, the office is on the second floor downtown. Don't know what parish you are in.
The only two things that can really mess you up are,
1) if you go through a broker, make sure ONLY the persons name you are buying it from appears on ALL paperwork. The law on used boats only applies to person to person sales, not used boats from dealers. It has to be seen as a person to person transaction.
2) if it is Coast Guard registered. You have two choices. One is to get the registration swapped into your name, then register it in La. (about an 8 week process, minimum). Or, have it dropped from the CG roles, then register it. (3 to 4 weeks). You will have to show the letters from the CG either way Don't let anyone tell you different, it is a requirement by law for a CG documented vessel to also be registered in La. In the next breath they will say it isn't enforced. Ok, but do you want to take that chance?
If you do buy used and out of state, you may need proof that the prior owner did pay taxes.
