Another great day of fishing down the river. The day started out a little cold, but it warmed up and we caught some nice reds.
Great opening weekend of duck season and great weekend for red fishing. 5 two day limits of ducks and 5 limits of reds.
Hot day but we left them biting. Two limits of reds and some black drum and pestered by a hungry gator.
Had a wonderful day down the river on Saturday. A little cold on the ride down, but it warmed up for the ride back. Great day.
We started out hitting our usual spots, but did not get a bite. We moved around a lot until we found some clear waterar water and the bite was on. Great day.
Another great Saturday fishing down the river.
We went down the river to do some redfishing and it turned into a trout fishing trip. We ended up with 60 specks/white trout, 7 black drum, 1 sheephead, 3 redfish and 2 catfish. We also caught and released 4 big black drum. Great trip with great friends.
Great food, great friends, 4 limits of reds, 3 pigs and an eight point deer amounts to a great weekend down the river.
Beautiful day of fishing. Great weather and lots of fish.
Caught two limits of reds, 4 black drum and 15 catfish. Wonderful day to be on the water fishing and enjoying the great outdoors with good friends.
Lots of fun over the weekend. We caught sharks, big black drum and 3 limits of redfish. Just a great weekend.
Went out Saturday and caught three limits of redfish and a lot of big drum. Very nice trip.
Got a late start due to the fog, but managed to limit out. Very calm, nice day.
Saturday was a great day. Limit of reds and a limit of ducks. Where else can you do this, but in South Louisiana.
Wonderful day on the water. Blue skies, nice tide, good friends to enjoy it with. Three limits of reds.
Pictured is a three man limit of reds on a VERY windy day. Crossing Four League Bay was a nightmare. We had fun catching the reds, but we should have listened to the weather man and stayed home.
Went down the river on Saturday, it was very cold, but very productive. The water was the lowest I have seen in years. We ran aground three times, in places where we ran fine a couple of weeks ago. We caught our limit of some of the nicest reds we have ever caught. We threw our cast net and did not catch anything, so we had to use dead shrimp on the bottom. We caught and released one big black drum.
Went down the river on Saturday with a friend and limited out on some of the nicest reds we have caught in a while. The weather was very nice, very little wind, clear water, we saw three eagles and just a perfect day to be out on the water. What a wonderful area we live in.
Went down the river on Friday and really caught a lot of fish. We did not limit out on any variety, but we caught some nice reds, drum, specs, bass and sheephead.
Anyone ever heard of catching bass in Lost Lake?
Went down the river on Saturday and caught some nice fish. My friend caught the pictured drum and redfish on three consecutive casts. We had a great time but we got caught in big rain storm.
