Its time to open your eyes to the real
picture. There is a bigger ANIMAL out there than the fight over dog running and still hunting. I hunt both with dogs and without and enjoy hunting both ways.I also feel anyone who is against any type of hunting wether it be with dogs are with out, should be on the list of being an ANTI-HUNTER.
Now to open your eyes a little.I just read an artilce in SPORTING CLAYS MAGAZINE, It states that two of the biggest Anti-hunting groups in the U.S. just merged, these two groups are Humane Society of the U.S. (HSUS) and the Fund for Animals (FFA),with net assets of 100 million and a checkbook of over 70 million. Do we as hunters have this much unity, well by reading some of these post I would have to say NOT.
Bow hunters it's time to open your eyes with a little quote from a spokesmen for the (HSUS) and I Quote:HSUS made it very clear their number one priority will be to force a ban on bowhunting.(its considered a vulnerable spot to start). It also states that the HSUS will attack all bloodsports which they call any type of hunting, fishing, and trapping.
So lets stop fighting each other and unite, because there is a bigger ANIMAL out there.
P.S. The one starting the ban on dog hunting in area 6 is lungshot.

If you ask them, they claim to be still hunters I see where you are coming from thats the reason for the spelling steal hunter.they are not dog hunters in true sense of the meaning dog hunter.

The reason I spell still hunter STEAL HUNTER is:therehunters in my area that wait in bayou to see where we are going to turn dogs loose these hunter do not own dogs lease land or any thing they are not doghunters are still hunters they are Steal hunters looking to kill deer in front of my dogs they want even catch the dogs after they kill a deer in front of them so when I spell still hunter steal am not refuring to all still hunters.

Ther was an injuntion place on some friends of mine for hunting the state land in the injuntion it states that if this 6 peoples dogs are caught on buckskin hunting club property then the owners just those men can be charged with there is some confusion on dogs trespassing because of this injuntion.the court never founf these been to be trespassing,Expect for some bayous and pipeline canals that every one in my area thought was navaiable waters the court rule they were you see where the confusion might be.never heard of a fee for retirving your dogs on pritave property, but a dog hunter may go on pritave to retirve his dogs as long as he is not caring a gun.I can see where this will cause a lot of personally ask for perimission first if at all possible.hope this clears some of your ? up.Did you find my post I wrotr to Gerald it tells a little more about some of the confusion in the basin.

Hello again!Like you said if it was for the outlaw dog hunters there really would t be a problem.Like I said earlier if I know how to stop them I would.I guess its like the old saying THE GOOD HAVE TO SUFFER FOR THE BAD.You don t see any outlaw dog hunters posting on here do you, only the ones that love their type of hunting and do there best to respect the rights of others.

As for as the steal hunter in my stand,if you read somewhere on one of these dasmn post I wrote about hte sheriff and D.A. of the parish we hunt say its our problem to handle trespassing they want touch it Chad find it it tells all about the legal are illegal stuff in my area.I will go back and try to find it to if i do i will tell you where its at.Nevr mined found it its in ricky A the very first post and about the third are fourth

Hello Chad.I understand where Yall are coming fromand I think most of the good dog hunters understand too, where the problem comes in is people are tring to stop something these guys have been doing for 40or50yrs and its something they love to do its human nature that they(we)are alittle P.O. and willing to fight for something we love.
Like I have said before my club leases land, and state land borders it and in some places even splits it,you say some hunters only get 5 or 6 days to hunt, well most of our hunters only hunt the weekends so that cuts there 45 days down to 12 days,so basiclly what you are telling me is because there is a steal hunter hunting the state that borders and splits my lease land Now we are not tlking about WMA's just state land that all of the public has the right to hunt, that I shouldn t turn my dogs loose on my lease land are the state land(which we have just as much right to hunt as he does)because it will mess up that one guys 5 or 6 days,Now as for as for dogs crossing still hunters land that is private thats where the problem comes in,all good dog hunters don t want this to has much as the still hunters, butsometimes it happens and for this we are SORRY!!
You also say you spend money on fuel, seed for food plots well we do the same yes we have tractor and disc in the basin Some dog hunters still hunt this same stealhunter the one that only has 5 or 6 days to hunt the one that doesn t lease any land, feed dogs, plant food plots,or care what kind od deer he kills is sitting on your stand in that food plot you planted that is on your lease land, and when you confront him tells you his hunting state land I guess you get the picture Am typing to dam much basically leave the good dod hunters alone find a way to stop the bad ones if I had the answer I would myself.

I have tlk to Moreland they alredy do survey, tell me if it fair they send the survey to 6% of the lic.buyers in each parish.just 6%. The last survey showed 85% preferrer still hunting.
I have also tlk to Mr.Earl King He knew of the survey but didn t realize it was only 6% of the hunters in each parish. We both agreed that if the survey was done to all hunters this % would drop.So lets see if they do the fair way this time.We also tlk about doing area by area expectly area 6 The trouble spot. Some say.

Like I have said before I hunt leased land.Yes there is state land that borders my leased land and in some places even splits my land.Well we have problems with steal hunters trespassing, doing just like you said getting off there stand running to cut the dogs off.Yes this unsafe for both steal hunter and dog hunter alike. Why well for one thing, all the dog hunters know where there hunters are at,so you get still hunters running though the woods it becomes a problem.
As for as for your three propsed rules I wouldn't have a problem with them, but that dog that steal hunter is turning in where did he really catch it,but thats right all steal hunters are honest.
As for as for hunting club name and owners name on collar we already to this even go as far as putting initials on both sides,we also use tracking collars.
