Are you sure it wasn't leptospirosis . which is contracted from rat feces or urine , reason I ask is because I had several beagles that died and vet would always come back saying parvo and to bleach out kennels , and finally I had one dog sent to lsu for testing and came back positive for leptospirosis which is treatable with anitbiotics , watch for signs of kidney failure as the dog ages , the symptoms are identical , but parvo is viral and cant be treated with antibiotics , death is always the result , they usually pull through with treatment from lepto , never never leave food in pans overnight outside for dogs , tough lesson i had to learn

hey roadhead I apologize for sounding as if i was doubting you I have seen a number of turkeys off of 3125 going to convent , and I talked to the president of our club today and he told me that the ldwf released 75 birds in reserve around the hot water canal for that lawyer how has the camp back their , he's the one they say requested it and I remember one evening seeing a big hen on the exit ramp from I-10 at airline in sorrento the on about 6 miles before blind river boat launch , and that blew my mind so maybe so , in the next few years we will probably have good turkey's being posted on the site taken from our area
sure it wasn't turkey vultures from a distance , alot of people mistake em for hens
