For the past three years at this time we could not buy a picture of a buck. They only started showing up during the rut. This summer we had the lease thinned now bucks like these are abundunt through out the lease. If you able, manage your timber.
Some think the flash scares them off. Although startled they keep coming back.

Pigs are taking over.
The deer are sheading there summer coats.
Velvet bucks coming in to feed but there is a pecking order as the smaller buck will soon learn.
