Well, here you go. The trout are on fire inshore around Cocodrie. Check the tides and weather and just HAVE FUN!
My DAD and I had our limits and had a great afternoon.
Thinking of going out there also for the first time. Probably out of Rigolets around April/May time frame. Hope it goes good for you!
I thought you guys forgot about me over on the north shore! I've been fishing the bridge and trying to find a house over here.
The amber romance is the ticket. My girlfriend and I went to Victoria's Secret and the cashier asked if it was for her or me!!! Funny stuff. But after using it a few times I figured out I was actually allergic to it. Too Bad!!! Oh well.
Good to see you guys are doing well over there. Not too bad over here either!!! Went yesterday with a friend of mine at the causeway from the northshore and we ended up with 20 3.0-4.5 lb trout! Great day on the water. Later Dude!
Look I am in no way an expert, but I will tell you this. Use a sweetner to absolutly get rid of gamey tasting meat. Examples for myself would be, CANE syrup for deer(roasting, does not need alot in it)as much as you want in it for grilling with your barbecue sauce. Orange juice for duck(soaking overnight) works well. Brown sugar works great also. I have also heard that apples added to roasting is good. Now for the disclaimer; this only applies to my tastes. Good luck!!!!
I must have missed my invite!
