carbs in response to a report titled: need info

Put in at Bayou Corne today and ran to Bay Alcide area. Fished jigs, and shinners with no luck. Even threw some spinner baits for bass and only caught 2 not big enough to keep. Water was a little high and muddy. Just Say'in !
I helped a friend with the same sort of problem on a 50 yamie, his carb jets were full of trash from sitting with ethonol. It doesn't take long. Check your carbs. It's not hard if you are a little mechanically inclined. Just pay attention when you pull the carbs to clean them. Take pics of before take=down for reference.
Best of luck! Hope you do well!
sorry must have gotten bad info. Someone that lives in the area had passed that on to me. Glad to know it is still open, not many places to buy bait in the area. Thanks
I was told the little bait shop recently closed. Parkers grocery on Hwy 16 and Hwy 447 sells shiners, I don't know about worms or crickets. Ask the cashier up front or call ahead for more info.
That sounds like Coyell Bay.
If the battery is only 1 year old it should be under warranty.
A friend and I fished Old River a week and a half ago. We caught 12 small to medium sac-a-lait around the floating pears. Everyone we talked to said fish was not biting like normal, they had kinda shut down. May have changed since then. Good luck.
I must agree. I for one would like to eat a little of what I catch. Maybe a lower length could be the answer, not by much but it is frustrating to catch fish after fish that is 1/8 too short. With the expense of fuel and equipment today, a few to bring home would be nice.
