I have several old mature deer that I have pics of on our place(private family land), but so far they only move at night. The last 2 or 3 weeks I have been seeing small bucks almost every hunt and I keep passing on these small bucks. I can't seem to catch a glimpse of a big one in the daylight hours yet. Is anyone familiar with the rut in Calcasieu parish(Holbrook Park area)? If so, please share any insight. There are also some lo-life people trespassing and they have stolen one of my motin Camera's (Bushnell Trail Sentry) it is camoflage, has the regular flash mode, and also nightvision mode. If you have any Info please contact: Kevin (337)-292-0708 It was stolen somewhere between Dec. 3'rd-9'th right along Little River on the Crumpler's land where it borders another 80 acres we have leased. Thanks for the help!!!

I can't keep the racoons off my feeder. They are climbing up the poles and spinning all the corn out. I zip-tied steel traps to the legs and cought two of them. They figured out what those were and the traps aren't working anymore. I sat in my stand one afternoon and killed two of them with my bow(That was fun,and some good practice!), but now they just come at night. I know some of you have had this problem before, please give me a few new ideas on keeping them off my feeder. Thanks!

I have just recently bought a new Tohatsu 25 4-stroke motor for my old boat, and my boat got damaged so I'm looking for an aluminum boat. I use my boat to fish and I also hunt in the marsh, so shallow water is a common thing. I am trying to decide if I want a tunnel hull or not. Please give your opinion, and the up side and down sides of a tunnel hull. Thanks

A comment titled: great stand in response to a report titled: Lock on

I have hunted out of these stands for 3 seasons now and have several of them. They are comfortable and you can't beat the lifetime warranty! I had a plastic end cap come out of the frame of the seat and water got in it and froze causing the frame to crack. I called and they had me send it to them and they sent me out a brand new one. If your a bow hunter, get a clamp-on bow holder to mount on the deck of the stand or a screw in rod to hang your bow from the tree and kick back and relax. good luck!

where do you hunt? I have quite a few woodcock on our family land but everytime I set out to hunt them I only get about half the birds I see. They let you get so close and then haul butt when they get up. Will they let a dog point them like a quail?

A comment titled: I have one in response to a report titled: Savage rifle

I have been shooting my Savage 7mm Mag for about 4 years now and it is an awesome gun. Don't let anybody talk bad about it because it's a savage. I have killed many deer and hogs with this gun and plan to kill many more. Don't go cheap on your scope and you'll have a gun for a lifetime!!

A comment titled: try this in response to a report titled: New Cudde Cameras

I have just recently purchased a new cuddeback noflash. I also had trouble figuring out the little battery plate. It does work though. When you put it, in push it down and in towards the back of the camera. The middle of the plate between the two humps should go right underneath the plastic of the camera in between the humps. As far as the moisture in the lens I dont know what to tell you. I have one of those bear safe lock boxes around mine and it stays high and dry. good luck! hope that helps. let me know if you get working
