I wonder if thor the wonder wolf dog is fixed or is he producing wolf/coyote/german sheperd deer eaters with the local coyote population. I imagine a pack of those would lay into the deer pretty heavy.

Just wanted to pass along something i learned today. For those of you that frequent lake okhissa, you can buy a yearly pass. There are 2 types, 1 is 50.00 and expires on 12/31; the other is 80.00 and expires on the day you buy it 1 year later. I have been paying 5 dollars a trip when i could have had a pass and saved some money.

February 22 at 6:46pm

Just an fyi any trailer without papers is essentially worthless and should command the scrap price as top dollar which hovers around 8 cents per pound. There are numerous trailers for sale in the classifieds and i would like to buy one but none of them have papers rendering them totally useless you couldnt give me a trailer without papers so just who are you selling these to.

I am just curious to see whether or not there are other people that refuse to purchase ethanol gas. If you respond below just state whether you only buy conventional or ethanol. Thanks.

Maybe someone can help me understand why the used guns for sale in the classifieds section are listed for more than you can buy them brand new for. My theory is that the people buying these guns have less than stellar back grounds and can't buy new. If that is the case it won't be worth the 100.00 you made selling the gun to have to spend an afternoon with investigators when something goes south, and it will. If there is some other reason please enlighten me below.

This increase will only lead to less hunters, and less hunters equals less revenue. I feel bad for the young hunters that cant afford to get lic, once kids reach the age to buy lic most quit hunting. This is not good for the future of the sport or the species. I am sure the la lawmakers will respond and charge the ms residents more to fish here and the cycle will continue.

They are called wildlife managemeny areas because usually the agency that manages it plants food plots and does prescribed burns etc. Now being that this is louisiana and jindal has robbed us blind i doubt too many plots will get planted, but no you cant go plant one, at least dont tell anybody you did.

Try to live anywhere north of I12 unless you dont mind working for an insurance company. That is the dividing line between reasonable insurance and ripping you off.

A comment titled: one more thing may work.. in response to a report titled: Public/private land Hunting

Years ago when the limits werent so big, i think it was 3 ducks. I would hunt public land in venice and only see crabbers and the game warden never see another hunter or hear a shot. I would only hunt the tidal movement no matter what time of day it was and be limited out in just minutes. Then when they raised the limits it was like a fleet of boats and then once duck dynasty came on and surface drives make it easy, its over with. More people than ducks. I am now a deer hunter although i do shoot a wood duck or two.

Until surface drives are outlawed and duck dynasty gets cancelled you can forget about duck hunting on public land. Every duck is ran clear to mexico by bearded maniacs in surface drives by opening day.i just hope a deer dynasty never comes on, then i wont have anything left to hunt.

A comment titled: be glad to clarify in response to a report titled: Chalmette Refining Petition

Obviously if you live in a freak state like Florida and the other 6 states that dont allow non-ethanol fuel then yes it is hard for you to avoid ethanol, not impossible but hard. On a previous post I listed three places to buy nonethanol fuel that lie just in my little 100 mile travel circle. There are places to buy nonethanol fuel. If you buy ethanol products and then complain about not having nonethanol then you are a hippocrite, and then if you do it and have a website and ask people to sign a petition and send you money: you are probably the world's biggest hippocrite.

A comment titled: not cimplicated in response to a report titled: Chalmette Refining Petition

I know I said I wouldnt post again, but yall are making this way more complicted than it needs to be. The process to stop ethanol production doesn't involve refineries, congessman or anyone but yourself. If everyone makes a conscious decison to stop buying it, trust me the refineries will stop making it. Once they see that they can't move it there will be no more reason to produce it, and no mandate or drunk congressman will sway them. It all starts with you, don't be baited in by the few cents cheaper price per gallon, stand firm and do not purchase any ethanol products, except a good whiskey or bourbon of course

A comment titled: no ethanol in response to a report titled: Chalmette Refining Petition

I can only tell the stations where I travel that sell ethanol free. There is a c store in summit miss off I 55, bernies c store in folsom, and the bulk plant in Covington where I get my ethanol free. You can buy ethanol free, its still around these are three places in the small area I travel in. In other oil producing states like Oklahoma it is at every station. Only in this oil producing state its a problem because we have a moron for a governor, our entire economy is based on oil and gas and he allows ethanol gas and people like you buy it, amazing. Everyone can post where they can buy ethanol free and start the boycott, I won't post again, I feel like i am wasting my time, I would probably be better off trying to explain basic economics to a chicken, good luck in your future endeavors.

A comment titled: look in the mirror in response to a report titled: Chalmette Refining Petition

Again, I never ever purchase ethanol gas, it can be done. If you buy ethanol gas look in the mirror at the man responsible for its production. The govt pays these stations so much per gallon subsidy to sell it so they sell it and people like you buy it, so quit complaining. I personally chose to never support ethanol production by not purchasing the finished product. You can write letters and get a list of hippocrites on a petition until the cows come home but as long as people buy it they will sell it. Reach down find some semblence of a spine and if you want to make a change use your website for a boycott or you are wasting your and everyone else's time. Real gas is still readily available.

Js you have struck on another topic alltogether. Where I live the sheep has been beaten into submission for so long that they don't vote anymore, they just lay back and take what's coming to them. The voter turnout is around 20 percent, so good luck with that. Sheep get eaten, its a fact of life.

A comment titled: boycott in response to a report titled: Chalmette Refining Petition

You will garner my support but only with a full on ethanol boycott, petitions are useless. Oh and the gas I use comes from some refinery in Mississippi. Even though I pay more I get much better gas mileage and I do not support ethanol production, I get it at the bulk plant of the local distributed. I make a stand no matter what the sacrafice if I believe in something.

A comment titled: no ethanol in response to a report titled: Chalmette Refining Petition

Your effort will fail. The refinery could not care less about the petition, they only know dollars and cents. My point was people that purchase ethanol gas are actually signing the petition and they are the very cause of ethanol gas being produced. The refinery is going to make what sells, just like every other business in the history of mankind. If people would stop buying it they would quit making it. Do you think they really care about 3 guys in challmette putting e0 gas in their boat once a month so they will refine a little for the boats, come on. You are wasting your time with petition. I sleep good at night knowing I have never contributed to the making of ethanol gas just simply by not purchasing it. Its economics 101, demand dictates supply.

July 12, 2014 at 7:52am
A comment titled: no petition needed in response to a report titled: Chalmette Refining Petition

I refuse to sign your petition, and no one despises ethanol gas more than me. I never, ever buy gas with ethanol. Yea its a pain but I am not a sheep to be led to slaughter. If people would quit buying it then they would quit making it, you only have yourselves to blame. I pay more for real gas and I only have one place I can get it, but if everyone did like me you would need no petition. So in closing, the world needs more wok es and less sheep: but then again maybe sheep like getting _________ed.
