Slammed the trout this afternoon on the trestles. Got there at 5:00pm, had 22 and a nice red in 2 hours. Met a nice guy, Barry W., and had pleasant conversation while we were both catching fish. Barry, send me a reply via e-mail and we will 'hook up' for a trip.

Even that liberal of all liberals moron Jon Stewart defended Phil's right to say what he said. Why? Because in his own words he alluded that he is guilty of saying a lot of ignorant things on his show. Phil's statement about marrying 15-16 year olds was OBVIOUSLY a tongue in cheek statement referring to their eagerness to even 'pick your ducks'. But....once again the ignorance of the bleeding heart liberals and their pursuit of wholesale change in the American way of life (which includes FREEDOM OF SPEECH) has risen it's ugly head over nothing more than a statement of personal opinion. KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS. Blessings to all (including those who do not agree).

Here's hoping that 2014 brings continued success and blessings to Chaz and his family, and prayers for the spring winds to be more co-operative for all the Lake P. diehards like us. Bill Bryson and Sonny Roche'.

The absolute BEST way to learn to fish Lake P. is to jump aboard with one of the pro guides (Capt. Eric Dumas, Capt. Kenny Kreeger, Capt. Dudley). These guys and others unnamed have been fishing the lake for nearly their entire lives and can teach you in a few hours what would take you years to learn on your own. I'm 63 and learn something new every time I go. Also, I agree with the previous post to pay attention to this site and the folks who post. The Dockside folks and Captains that launch there are a wealth of knowledge and will readily help point you in the right direction. Good luck and tight lines.

Trying to make everyone happy is quite the challenge for any business, especially a fairly new one. My fishing podnah Sonny and I have never had a problem with Chaz and the guys. They have a nice launch, live bait, lots of parking, accurate advice and a coke machine. Sure, there are improvements to be made like cleats for tying your boat off and carrying a few snacks inside. The folks have always been nice to us but they are a fairly new and growing business (with growing pains)and I would anticipate some improvements in the future. Good luck Chaz and TIGHT LINES everyone.
