Took the kids on a midday trip today and hit up a couple spots I've been wanting to try. We hit the first one and got on a decent bite then it died off. Went to my second spot and didnt move till I said no more fish lol. My kids had a blast as tey had them flying in the pathfinder. Ended the day with 44 trout 1 redfish and one sheepshead. Made a quick morning trip with a couple friends and stuck 48 trout and a sheepshead before 10am. Live shrimp and shrimp creole was the ticket! U want in on this action just gimme a call!

Well the bite wasn't on fire today but we did catch alot. More throwback today than yesterday but ill tell ya my customers were very happy! Tey said that was the most trout they have ever caught in one trip. We ended the day with 28 trout and 3 doormats. Today I had my real good friend Todd foster ( meauxjeaux ) and friend Jared which is the producer of sportsman tv. We got a early start and got to at the first spot to only find a slow bite boating 2 trout. With the water finally cleaning up we made 2 more moves and the last move we hit jackpot. I will say this. If ppl always listen to the weatherman u will never get out on the water. Me and my dad took off this morning and made it to the spot. Falling tide made it tough to start. Made 2 more moves and the second move was the right move. We had fish flying over the bow. My dad lost one at the boat looked to be at least over 4lbs. Made a quick morning trip this morning to find a tough trout bite. We managed a handful of fish and catching and releasing a jack and a bull drum. Caught a couple jigging shrimp creole matrix but everything else was caught on live shrimp. If anyone is looking for a enjoyable fishing charter gimme a shout. Fishing was great today out in the lake. Had a group from Indiana aboard today and trout were on the menu. At the start the kids were out fishing the dads. But once the bite really got started fish were flying all over the place. Our final tally was 51 trout 7 drum 3 redfish and 1 sheepshead. Giving everyone an update for capt jack. The shrimp in his bait tanks are some good looking shrimp. Had alot of boats out today with limits comming back in caught on both live shrimp and matrix shad. Saturday the bite started off slow but as the air temps warmed up so did the bite. My crew ended up with 32 trout for the day. Wanna thank capt Eric Dumas for setting up the trip as his crew did a little better than we did. Today I decided to take my son out and was greeted with hungry trout. The lake is heating up. But the winds are heating up as well. Went run to te causeway with Phillip and was out there for an hour and and the 3footers came. So took off to a hole from the past and hit pay dirt. Ended with 18 nice trout but had to leave them biting. Matrix shad and rattle traps were the ticket. Took off with my friend Kevin and his wife to the fishing grounds this morning and boy was it cold!!! Don't see how ppl that live up north can fish all winter in that cold but then again fishing is an addiction!!! To my surprising the bite today was a early bite. We picked away at them make passes in one of my spots picking up 5-6 fish in the icw. The bite died and we went searching more.... Read More

Bad day to go fishing today??? Not for holy mackerel and I. Headed to Sweetwater dropped the boat in and set off to our destination and not even 5 min after we got to our spot it was on like donkey kong! We had our limit of 50 trout at 725 this morning. Took the kids to the causeway for for a quick speckled trout run before the wind and rain gets here and surely wasn't disappointed. My kids had trout hitting the bottom of the boat and i thought they were bricks. 16-23 1/2 inch fish. We ended the day with 30 trout but they were all logs! Me Rodney his brother and friend join set sail where I went yesterday and instantly 51 trout in the boat then 2 hours later couldn't buy a bite. Headed easy seen 5 gulls diving and it was all she wrote. Number 100 hit the chest at 1030 with 2 bonus redfish.
