I need some input on the pros and cons of auto shotguns, I was raised shooting a remington pump and I have a remington rifle. I went to a outfitter store yesterday to look at the versamax and the guy was trying to talk me out of buying it. OK people I have a question regarding a slug vs. buckshot. I have your everyday remington 870 that shoots 3 1/2 shells and there is a deer that is crossing in the woods but its to close to shoot with a rifle. Would you all use a slug or buckshot? I would rather use a slug but I don't know what kind of choke I need if any. It's just a regular shotgun. What would u use?

Does anybody know of a place to get a European skull mount around the Lafayette area. I'm not wanting to travel out of my way to get it done because it's not a huge deer, but very nice. Any input would be appreciated. thanks

I'm buying a Rossi rifle/shotgun for my son and I was wondering how accurate they are. It comes with a 7mm08, 20gauge, .22LR barrels. How accurate is the 7mm08 at about 100 yards? Has anybody ever had any problems with these guns? Thanks

The USFWS sets the "framework" within which each State can set hunting regulations. I've been hearing the old timers say that a good way to bait hogs is to mix diesel and corn. Is this true? I'm wanting to go bait em but I'm just trying to find out if it's true. Any comments are appreciated

I would like to get some comments and opinions on gun comparisons. I've been a Remington fan all my life and I would like to get a new shotgun. If you would choose what are the pros and cons of each, (Remington 11-87 3 1/2, Beretta Extrema 2, or Benelli Super Black Eagle II.) It's about that time to invest in a new shotgun.
