Can someone please give me some insight into the Pearl River water levels? I need to know the correct water level @ Pearl River, LA to be able to fish the East Pearl @ Hwy 90 bridge. Or, is there another river level guage that I am unaware of?

The lowest gauge I know of (that is recorded) is the gauge....
Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries ought to be ashamed of themselves. I went to the office off Quail Drive this morning to purchase a duplicate boat registration. Trout Slam was on this past Saturday. The beach was a little soupy & the water wasn't that clear, but 5 of us caught 125 trout by 1:00PM.

I've always shared good or bad when I've traveled from Baton Rouge to fish the Pearl. I'd appreciate any info.

I didn't let the weather scare me off yesterday. Launched @ East Pearl off Hwy 90 & went north to 1st cut on the left & fished the cut itself and caught nothing. So, came back into Pearl River & fished the mouth with about 5 other boats. We all caught nice size specks.
Proceeded north of I-10 & caught some nice bass...then went south & fished the cane or.... Read More

I fished that area Monday morning. I found some decent....
Did anyone catch any fish @ the mine today. Because of Mardi Gras, the mine wasn't all that crowded. We didn't do well @ all. Nobody I watched was catching any fish. If you caught fish & want to share trades secrets...I'll listen to any good advice.
