John Rucker posted a nice report for bank fishing Hwy 1, I will second that. I did not take any pictures but I have not put a boat in the water over the last 30 days and I have caught more fish than I can count. Sunday was 25 trout in an hour with 3 throw-backs. I will get some pictures this weekend and have a report for everyone. Gold spoons and plastic under a cork has done it for me.

I was able to catch some good fish yesterday before the wind got bad in the afternoon. I did not keep any of the reds, all about 24', once I got into the trout. They were smaller yesterday than they have been lately but still about 14-16' Over the last month I have caught more fish than the last few years, but I have been able to spend more time in Leeville because of a new job. I was able to get in a few hours of fishing last week. Tried out some new spots and they paid off. Had a great time with nice weather. I only used one bait, Johnson 1/2oz gold spoon. Just had to cast it, that's it. Looking forward to this week.

Getting ready for the elk season and found this Moo Cow garding the water from an Elk cow.
Great reports everyone. I live out of state these days and have not fished during the summer in a long time. I will be in Leeville this weekend and was wondering if it is worth my time to try and fish under the lights this time of year? Also, these trips are far and few between these days so any other advice for the area would be great. Thanks.

This one is not from Louisiana but it sure was fun. I would have much rather cleaned a white tail. Great trip and I could not even fit a pack of hotdogs in the freezer

Well I have not been to Louisiana since March but I just baught my ticket for this weekend so I need some help. I will be at my camp in Leeville by Friday morning and if you guys could be so kind as to let me know any places producing that will save me some time as it is limited. Thank You

Little late on this report but I have been working too much. Fished the past two weekends in the Leeville marshes, because of the wind and rain, and did well. Two weeks ago we ran back and forth from the camp to the spot to avoid the rain and brought home some nice reds and trout. Last week we caught more fish but had to measure a few and only one red. Anyone going through Leeville I sure could use a report on my camp. I am out of state and will not be back for a while. Well I am in Utah for this years hunt. I only have 4 days to hunt, that is the season, and I can only hunt one area of the state. However there are some big mule deer and thought I would share some scouting pictures with y'all.
