Would it be feasible to put skimmer/wing nets on a 16ft x 6ft wide flat with a 60hp? Its a commercial flat manufactured by Duvics. What size frames/nets should I use if it is feasible? Thanks in advance for any info.

Anybody been doin any bassin in the manchac area lately?

Went to the lease in Franklinton Sat. saw tons of coyote tracks. I would like to try eleminating a couple of them. Do any of you think a .17 hmr would have enough power to kill a coyote at ranges 60 yard or less? Or would I be better off with a 243?

Planning on hitting the manchac/ruddock area tomorrow. Anyone been doin anything out there? Been awhile since i've fished it, any info would be appreciated.

Got to the lease Fri. afternoon, and put corn out around 3pm. Thought about making a hunt, but by the time I finished baiting up I was sweating like crazy. Decided to make Sat. morning hunt. Got on stand at 5:45. Right at 6:45 saw movement at corn. Looked closer and had three deer eating. Two big does and a yearling. Couldn't see my sights so couldn't shoot. They ate for maybe ten min..... Read More

Had to work opening morning, but took off early to make an evening hunt. Got in my stand around 5, kind of hot but bearable. Didn't see anything except birds, rats, and rabbits. I had to use every ounce of self-control I had in me not to shoot one of those rabbits near dark. Eventually thought better of it and went home. Going back Friday evening. Hope everyone else has some good luck!!

Anybody know where there is a 3D archery range in the Metairie or Covington areas? Been wanting to do it for a long time.

I bought a new camera a month ago and just got in some pics from my lease in Franklinton. Nothing big, but lots of meat coming through. The cam is set up on a travel route about fifty yards from my stand site

Does anybody know if the law allowing the 45/70 to be used during the muzzleloader season?

I have a 18.5'bass boat with what I believe is a 200hp Johnson with a 25"shaft. When I try to accelerate the front of the boat rises and it seems like the motor doesn't have any power left to plane out. On the trailer it revs up like normal. Could this be a problem with motor height? Any info will be greatly appreciated.
