We fished Saturday and Sunday while scouting for ducks. We saw plenty grays and a few teal. Opening weekend should be a good one.

Going down to Pointe a la Hache for the youth hunt. Is anyone seeing ducks yet?
I fished two weeks ago and didn't see a duck. I am hoping this front pushed some birds down.

Has anyone hunted or fished around Pointe a la hache this week and seen any teal? Last weekend was horrible and I was hoping this front brought some new birds down.

I'm fishing crabs around thorn tree bayou bakers bay and....
I have gone down to Pointe a la Hache the last two weekends. Both Pointe a la hache and Belle Chasse ferries are running normal hours. The road is open from chalmette through braithwaite from 6PM to 8PM.
I hunted Sat. and Sun. only killing 1 teal. Fished the rest of the day Sat. with no luck. No one is working the marina yet, But you are able to launch a boat. The parking lot is clear. I don't.... Read More
