what is the best way to get in to bateman island never fished it and don't know anyone that could show me. what i am asking is this.. is there a certain depth the river should be i should watch for before taking a chance.. what canal is usually the best to take into bateman

I am new to the area lookn to fish decade/jug lake for the first time. I hear there are some bass in those areas but all i see mostly on here are redfish reports. is it a certain time of year for the bass down there or just different areas?

Anyone know where i can find a map that would have the canal names. I read posts about this canal and that canal but i find no names on any maps i look at. Any ideas?

Can anyone tell me some good areas to fish in bayou black. I launch out of bobs marina but havent been able to come up with any fish. I hear the fishing is great but i have not caught any bass. also, i see lots of boats running to intracoastal are there other areas i am missing?

I just bought a bass boat and now i am trying to find areas to fish bass. Everyone talks about bayou black. I launched at bobs marina but didnt find many canals to fish in the area. Are there certain areas where i keep seeing reports from that i am missing (details please if you dont mind) i appreciate all the help i can get!
