Dennis, Craig, & Thomas Lorio, and Randall Aldridge joined me today. We left out of The Reel Inn Lodge at safe light. We found the bass at our first on fire!!! We had them coming in the boat almost every cast. # 50 hit the K2 Cooler at 7:45am. We caught 30 bass in one spot with the Power Pole down never moving!! We had four boats running out of The Reel Inn Lodge today. After another incredible dinner prepared by Chef Rickie Daigle and a few cocktails, it was time for bed!! We had 7 boats running today in Dularge and Cocodrie. BISSO Marine, Gaiennie Lumber Co, and Robert Utrera's group. I fished a 3 boat charter with Gaiennie Lumber Co, we left out of the Reel Inn Lodge bright and early. Good times putting the kids on the fish today! It was great having Clay Nunally back on board again. Clay brought his dad Bill and two sons Parker and Peyton. Great having Alvin, Steffan, and Cy Primeaux back on board the big Bluewave. It was a one stop shop this morning as we had our limit at 7:20 am. It was fish on every cast as soon as I stopped the boat. Double rigged Matrix Shad in any color we threw did the job. Fast and furious as the trout can't get enough of the Matrix Shad. Another incredible day out of The Reel Inn Fishing Lodge. Tim Barras, Bob Daigle, and Chester Turner were back on board once again for another trout slam. Easy as it gets today as we had our 100 trout iced down at 9 am. Double rigged Matrix Shad in Avocado, green hornet, lemon head, and Tiger did all the damage again. We wrapped our three day trip up with INOLECT down in Grand Isle yesterday. Conditions were better and so was the bite. Most boats averaged 30-70 keepers with 50-100 throwbacks. Plenty small fish if you like action. Live shrimp, and Endura shrimp under corks, and live croakers Carolina rigged seemed to work best. Day 2 with InoLECT in Grand Isle and Marquette down in Dularge. We were all greeted with stiffer winds than expected and dirty water in most locations. The conditions made for some tough catching. In Grand Isle all our four boats focused on trout. Live shrimp, Endura shrimp under a cork, and live croakers tightlined managed to get some trout in the boat. No big numbers but plenty to make.... Great day in Grand Isle today with my INOLECT customers. We had four boats running with all boats catching plenty fish. Despite the dirty water and strong winds last night, everyone still caught fish. Live shrimp under corks on the reefs and live croakers Carolina rigged or free lined near structures did the trick. We had a early start out of The Reel Inn Lodge today. Gordon Johnson, Mike Reeves, Mikey Jr, and Mehgan Johnson fished with me today. Our first stop had the big yellow mouths jumping into the boat!! Shane Duplantis and the REXEL Group came into The Reel Inn Lodge last night. The guys had a blast cooking, hanging out, and playing some beer pong!! Great day smashing the trout today with Tom Fisher from Albuquerque. Tom was reeling in a double before I even dropped the power pole!! It was fish on almost every-cast for a good 30 minutes before any other boats pulled up. Double rigged Matrix Shad in Shrimp Creole, Lemon Head, Avocado, and Green Hornet killed the trout until other boats showed up throwing live bait. Not a problem, we.... Read More

Change of pace today as we went chase down the bronze backs. Lee Sr and Lee Jr Ludwick and Kyle Robbins from Houston Texas joined me for an easy red fish slam. The reds were stacked up in schools and eating up our gold spoons. Easy as it gets as we boxed our 20 fish limit in a 200 yard stretch of bank. We had three boats all limit out and left them biting. Always a blast having Kirk Breaux on board with me. Kirk brought his son Isaiah to join in on the trout slam. It was fish on as soon as I stopped the boat. We busted the trout fast and furious as they were flying in every cast. 25 hit the deck and it slowed down. Made a quick move and started slinging them in again fast n furious. Day 2 with BISSO Marine was just as good as yesterday If not better!! Our first couple stops were slow only boxing 30 trout. We then hit the mother-load and iced down 50+ fish in a matter of 20 minutes or less. The entire deck of the Blue wave was covered in slime and fish as it was fast and furious.
